  1. Sounds like for once you stole SNE’s snowstorm?
  2. Looks to still be snowing moderately based on the cam. Looks like 4-5 new OTG based on the railing in the front of the house (different camera). Will need to see what the CoCoRaHS guy says. 14 degrees
  3. Looks very nice on your cams. Congrats! It was kinda sad when I drove through your area last week on my way home and it was bare. LOL
  4. It's snowing there now at 9 degrees. About 4" new so far.
  5. Very nice! You needed this. Your area had gotten shafted big time so far. Snowing nicely in Randolph, I think I can pull 5+ out of this thing. Nice topper on the glacial pack.
  6. That is a "right for the wrong reasons" post. I said we would not have huge HECS-level precip totals and we didn't. I never said that some place 400 miles away wouldn't get good totals. LOL I am not verifying my forecast across half the damn country like HM does...
  7. If I lived in Vermont I might be able to tell you.
  8. I would never tell you that. I wouldn't use snow totals from hundreds of miles away to tell you that it was a great storm for your backyard. Kinda silly, but weenie psychology is a fragile thing.
  9. I can’t tell from the picture but I will take your word for it.
  10. If I was posting this in the Upstate NY forum your response would make more sense. Why should I give a single shit what happened up there?
  11. LOL 10-40 is quite a range. If you want to claim victory over 3 foot totals in upstate NY, that’s fine. That’s how HM verifies his forecasts... 7-10 is the upper range in our subforum for the most part. A good storm, but some folks sure were resistant to the idea they’d mix with sleet and have a dry slot even though the models were screaming it at the end.
  12. Some glaze on trees is not an ice storm. I assume you were not here for 1994.
  13. Yep, a good storm for December in some spots but well off the pace for what was being hyped.
  14. Skip the resorts down here and just leapfrog the whole damn east coast situation like I did. Plenty of stuff to buy up in the Whites.
  15. Some flakes mixing in. There is sleet all the way into NW NJ in this garbage storm, FYI. So those who get to double digits are very lucky indeed!
  16. It's beautiful up there, no doubt. That whole zone north of Berlin has it's own vibe. Rolling hills, ponds, and gorges. It's neat.
  17. Makes Randolph and Gorham look like a bustling metropolis by comparison.
