  1. First week of January looks like garbage on all models. Sure, it can change. Maybe second week. Hope your optimism pays off. This will be a brutal week stretch however.
  2. Would a second giant cutter a week from now do it? LOL
  3. 12z GFS and CMC are locked in on the next cutter. Those things never waver much. Keep those blinds shut until mid-January.
  4. LOL Welcome to New England! Place is great, isn’t it?
  5. I like how now that the rain is training over New England the front appears to no longer be making much progress east. Just the way it was meant to be! I am at 2.43" and steadily climbing. Should cross 3.5" easily. Hope everyone's lakes, reservoirs, and winter crops are recovering.
  6. LOL just checked my cams and it's just a phantom IMBY. Drying out there. 34 there and 54 here. Makes perfect sense.
  7. Yup, mimosas here. The wind was roaring overhead all night but not that bad at the surface.
  8. They are the SE DC of this subforum. Can’t do any kind of weather right, even a drought.
  9. Let’s see if New Years can top it. We have had horrible cutters on or around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now it looks like New Years as well. Don’t make outdoor sleigh ride plans with your honey for Valentines Day folks!
  10. I can feel the spirit of Christmas and baby Jesus in this thread.
  11. Never lost power here. We have been lucky with that. Winds have died down, rain setting in now. Pack is gone aside from some piles here and there. It’ll be a total restart. I wonder if Bretton Woods will have anything left?
  12. The models say you might get to do this a few more times. A waking nightmare.
  13. Glad I could help support the grinch storm in doing its evil work.
  14. 52 degrees Gusted to 60 overnight 1.48" rain so far Chimney cap blew off the chimney into the front yard Great morning!
  15. LOL snow showers streaming through central GA and it’s raining in the mid-40s here. Sometimes the weather up here can really be a kick in the nuts. These slow moving trainwreck storms are terrible up here.
  16. It would be nice if we could just avoid the “atmospheric river” BS while we are waiting patiently. Does this crappy pattern period have to be quite so crappy?
  17. New Years is a replay of this last storm. Total dumpster fire on the models. Disaster. Maybe by the second week of January the mythical epic pattern will materialize.
  18. 46 degrees .23" of rain so far Gusting to 35 or so Pack in the field is getting wiped out, still hanging tough in the protected front.
  19. I didn’t realize that’s the measurement at the summit. Makes more sense in that case, I suppose.
  20. Terrible at 18z across all guidance. It better start looking better soon. Maybe after this current POS passes.
  21. I should still have snow tomorrow morning at least. Still several inches in all areas out there.
