Finally getting cable Internet brought in here. What a damned process this has been. LOL

I kinda want a super-cold stretch just because it would be neat for me personally being new up here. But for now I just want precip. Even a blowtorch pattern is clearly cold enough for snow here this time of year. I should be piling up every drop of moisture as snow right now. The precip shield over New England on the models is something else.

Getting massive blocking that drives the storms well south but then having the temps still be above normal is a serious gut punch. Just pathetic.

Yep, totally agree. Basically if the grinch storm had never happened I’d have 15-20 OTG right now.

Cannon has been nice this week. One minor gripe, there are small pebbles mixed in with the snow in a bunch of spots in the middle of trails and by the lifts. There is plenty of base, just small rocks at the surface. I assume the groomers picked them up. Not a big deal but kinda sloppy. I can’t recall seeing that before, recently at least. Not going to turn into a Karen at the customer service desk over it or anything, conditions have been good otherwise. LOL

Get in the Stowe chopper and surf that.

Felt pretty chilly out there today at Cannon. Hope the snow returns soon. I am blown away by the stats posted here. Turns out we should be a heck of a lot colder than we have been. It’s hard for me to judge this with it being my first winter here.

For some, things are different. The two hours they spent in the car commuting every day was replaced by time exercising in and around their home. So some people made the best of this. Agreed on others getting fat and more sick, however. I have seen some folks I know who look pretty rough after all this time. Especially when they haven't gotten their hair cut or trimmed their facial hair (for some reason?) since the summer... I'm sure we have all encountered these "zombie" people at this point. Not everyone does well when cut off from physical social interaction and a routine of leaving the house. It's very damaging to them. I try to encourage exercise to everyone I can. It's the best way to deal with this. I know it helps me.
