  1. That'd be awesome. Right now, I am expecting 10" of snow a month plus 1-2 warm cutters. LOL Spring cutter season starts soon, right?
  2. This stretch does make me excited to see what a good or even normal winter is like here. I can say I have seen the basement, hopefully. Nowhere to go from here but up.
  3. Yep, I've already given up on getting anywhere near average. Would just like to hit 100" and have a nice stretch where it is solidly cold with a couple solid upslope events. Maybe after this next cutter... LOL
  4. You said it. The total wipeout anomaly from that "event" caused the record to skip and we still haven't gotten back in the groove. Easy to forget it wiped out 3ft+ of fresh pack in spots that are now basically bare or close to it. If that storm hadn't happened, we would be viewing this period as the reload time versus feeling urgency to scrape and claw to save some scrap of winter right now.
  5. I'm on the northern edge of that NH bullseye. Fine by me. A few inches and drizzle is better than a cutter.
  6. Any cold would be nice. Mid-20s and dry for weeks followed by 35 and rain followed by mid-20s and dry is no way to run a winter. That's barely any different than I get in northern MD. Bring on some -35s to at least shake things up and freeze the lakes/ponds. Anyway, I will stop complaining. Hopefully this weekend thing is more snow than rain. Ugh...
  7. I am praying that this is just some hedging of bets with all the rain talk. Even a little rain book-ended by some snow is fine. I may lose it if we have another cutter that wipes out the fragile pack. I will yell at a cloud for sure.
  8. Seems like a really tall order under the current weather regime. Need a total pattern flip. My temp has only been single digits a couple times this winter... really abnormal based on the past data I looked at.
  9. Seems possible. About 40 inches to go to match 2015-2016.
  10. I remember when we just needed to wait until January 10th... what a dumpster fire.
  11. Better, I guess. If that’s what’s coming, I hope this thing fizzles like the GFS shows. What a winter up here so far. Really lame.
  12. Anything but a tropical cutter. Snow to mix to snow is fine. Just not 57 degrees with heavy rain please. I can’t handle another pack-killing cutter.
  13. I feel personally attacked by the latest GYX AFD. LOL Man, f*ck your atmospheric river.
  14. We've come to really love Cannon. The self-contained Tuckerbrook area is so good for the small kids. They can loop over and over on those blues and always get back to the same lift to meet up.
  15. It actually never seems to snow when the "epic pattern" arrives and instead storms sneak up on everyone...
  16. Yes, I was and continue to be swarmed. Masons, excavators, carpenters... sometimes electricians. Plumbers are impossible to find. There appears to only be one plumber in Coos County and he is retired.
  17. LOL yeah Gorham is full of those guys. They are at my place all the time digging and paving.
  18. Phew, I was worried @dryslot might actually come here and get violent. Better you be the sacrifice.
  19. Suicide note is a print-out of a J. Spin meme post from the board. Authorities puzzled.
  20. A lot of the bread ‘n butter guys are barely keeping it together. Trying to cope with beauty shots of the same rotten old man-made snow on the mountains every day. LOL
  21. GFS looks like it continues the trend. 850s stay well below zero here throughout, and just one panel with with troublesome surface temps.
  22. Can't even handle cloudy days anymore. The blood of the proud and tough New Englanders is all but spent. Hate to see it.
  23. It’s headed that way. Trend is on.
