    That's my secret weenie forecast guys... for the board I only provide my thoughtful, restrained forecast. The Northern Greens bread 'n butter crew said I was was being too much of a weenie on this event and had to chill. LOL

    I have 5" OTG right now. I am figuring on 4-6 here in a thump, followed by some cold rain/dryslot that pretty much obliterates or pancakes the new snowfall, followed by 3-5" of upslope. I am hoping to end the entire event with 7"+ of glacier OTG. That will be a win in this wonderful winter.

    Has this virus been good for your stock portfolio? There is a whole class of people pushing the lockdowns and restrictions because it helps their wallets. Hope that’s not you, man.

    GFS is still pretty far west. Kind of a crazy low track. Not the bomb that the NAM was (as usual). v16 also still supports a more westerly track.

    RGEM cooled off a bit but still drives the low up between NH and VT.

    Tracks the low quite a bit further south than 18z. Hopefully a solid GFS run coming next. Would be nice to see the Canadian models fold to the NAM too. They have been leading the NW/warm camp for a while now.

    Probably the strongest upslope signal I have seen since I moved here and started tracking that on the NAM. It's really obvious on the 3k.

    NAM has been trending this thing into a totally different storm. Doesn't even bring the low up inland into NNE now.

    Agreed. I feel better about it. Some solid runs today. Clear colder trend and the upslope aspect is showing up well now. The spot that maxes on the initial thump and then gets into the upslope could really do well. We will see where that bullseye ends up.

    That will be a political declaration, like "Mission Accomplished." COVID isn't ever going to be truly gone. And vaccine immunity doesn't last forever.

    I've been a little suspicious of the weenie bands shown on the RGEM for the last several runs. There is one near my house too. Seems like the model being a little too cute with monster rates and marginal temps. That could easily just be 33 degree heavy rain (up here too).

    I've seen some reports that viruses like this usually mutate to be less deadly but more infectious/spreadable. Viruses that don't kill their hosts get spread around a lot more than those that kill very quickly.

    Could be interesting to see what they get at the CoCoRaHS site near here up 200 ft. Maybe will make a difference this time, haven't seen much difference yet this winter.
