Pretty good conditions at Bretton Woods today. They needed this snowfall badly. I know others have said it, but this totally changed the feel on the mountain. We had a lot of fun on Two Miles Home. It hadn't been groomed at all since they opened it and was pretty wild. Kids did great handling the bumps and dips. They will want to be in the trees soon I bet. This shot is two of the four on Avalon, I think.

No big dogs on the models through the next 7 days, but it looks like there will be continuous shots for bread and butter. Active northern stream. Nothing major, but refreshers are just fine now.

Suppression really sucks when there isn't even any real cold air to go along with it. The places further south can't even get snow in that scenario. The whole thing is just wasted as rain.

12 degrees with persistent snow showers. What a last few days. Total transformation here from perpetual November to deep winter. Let’s keep it rolling!

The snow in my area is just about perfect for skiing. Packed dense stuff and some fluff on top. No crust here.

Bring up some trucks and dig it out from behind the barn. All you can haul for $100.

Randolph recorded 3.6” from 7 AM yesterday to 7 AM this morning, so that puts things at about 19” for this storm if you assume we made up the extra .2” in the showers today. Not a bad showing at all compared to the ski places!

With this big pot roast pack here, I am all set with the 1-2 inches a day refresher stuff. Bring it on. Only thing missing still is some deep cold. At least a brief shot would be good. This week will deliver some cold at least.

Glad I have my 20+ OTG if we are headed into another boring 10 day dry stretch. Suppression without real cold again?

The plow piles on my driveway must be huge though. I can’t believe how tall they are already.

I really can’t imagine what one of those 250” winters with 50-60” depth would look like based on what I am seeing today. Must be epic.

I’m usually 5-7 below them for high temps. Sometimes a little more or less. They radiate better than me on clear nights. It never gets super cold here on those nights. Always breezy.
