    It's a step back everywhere other than perhaps a couple beach destinations in extreme SE Mass.

    This one has the feel of a storm that busts a lot of forecasts. I don't see it behaving per the script.

    The busts are marching NE. First, the MA. Now PHL. Next up is NYC and their forecasts for 2'. Hopefully the bust trend stops at SNE.

    00z HRRR shows the low blowing back up at 48HR to pound NH and Maine.

    I feel like the models are slowly pushing this entire thing NE. The Mid-Atlantic gang already busted. Next up is PHL and NYC. They probably aren't getting 2 feet. It seems like this storm is evolving and the models are playing catch-up. 18z Euro moves the snowfall max to NH and Maine, out of SNE...

    I was out steaming lobsters at 10 degrees. You may have seen the steam wafting up! White wine, lobsters, and tracking snowstorms. NNE life!

    Traditionally a good sign, IMO.

    I get upslope enhancement from the NW, N, NE, and E directions. So that's not an issue here. I think the 18z just blows up the GOM low a little later and less strongly than 12z. Still 20" here so no complaints.

    I think it's real. Euro has had it for a couple runs now.

    ICON cut back across the board a little too, FWIW. It seems we are narrowing the goalposts now to something good but not great.

    Euro cut back here from it's outrageous 12z run, but still 15-20 here.

    Euro is moving the NE bullseye in our general direction.

    GFS doesn't have a clue on this storm. I wouldn't worry about it.

    Always late to the party GFS finally washed out the cutter and has the follow on storm from the Euro.

    Based on the GYX distro, they seem to be hedging a lot about what happens after the first thump and the low occludes before firing again. They say totals may need to climb significantly if that second piece comes to fruition. It sounds to me like they are riding the GFS.

    There will be many epic busts up and down the east coast from this one.

    GFS looks rainy for SE areas.

    It seems to be real based on latest runs. Hopefully GFS shows something. It’s been the most lame here.

    18z HRRR has the Euro idea of the low initially dying and then re-firing in the GOM to enhance totals in NH and Maine.
