  1. It's definitely a time-honored tradition. We've all been there.
  2. Storm cancellations based on radar hallucinations already in full swing!
  3. Oh trust me, I am studying the RGEM very closely. LOL It’s already snowing there, right? It’s now cast time for you. Up here in the mountains there is still a little time for trends.
  4. The NAM is kinda alone now with not spinning up the low again to hit Maine better, unless I missed a model.
  5. Maybe in the sense the Titanic was technically built to withstand a direct hit on an iceberg, sure.
  6. The 12z GFS is pretty amazing here. One snowstorm after another.
  7. GFS also has the low enhancement up here into Maine. GFS has had a total turnaround on this storm in 24 hours. NAM is lamest here right now.
  8. What should we be looking for down south to see which camp is right? The NAM and RGEM are very different once you get outside SNE. This is like a mini-storm inside the storm. LOL
  9. You'll have a nice trip back. Snow for miles and miles along the entire way.
  10. Definitely better to keep expectations in check and then be pleasantly surprised! I'm kinda in the 12-15" mindset, depending on if the upslope aspect delivers. I don't buy the 2.5" of liquid the Reginald has been offering for a couple days now, but maybe 1.25" is within reach. It's going to rip here on the E wind for a while no matter what.
  11. Yep, you can see the two camps for sure. Euro seems to kinda split the difference?
  12. It still has a defined coastal low that comes more north up here. The NAM just fizzles outside of SNE.
  13. I know it's the RGEM, but it has been really consistent with this track and strength. Just run after run of the same thing.
  14. The Canadians have barely wavered for several cycles whereas the NAM and GFS have been a little jumpy...
  15. Won't be so epic when it melts by the end of the week. Jay still holds the retention crown.
  16. Any sign of @jculligan? This is shaping up to be an awesome event for the eastern slopes.
  17. Are the Canadian models verifying down south? Man, they are insistent this storm wraps up tight and heads into Maine. None of this swirl around well off the coast stuff.
  18. UKMET has had a local jackpot over my house for several cycles now...
  19. The HRDPS is basically what I think we all have been hoping this storm would become: a wrapped-up bombed-out beast. Not this weird strung-out POS with a giant circulation.
  20. Sheesh, the Canadian models have been absolutely pornographic on this event.
