  1. I wonder if PF is still excited about BOS snowstorms as his yard turns into a slushy mud pit.
  2. NAM looks great. It's funny how much it spooks people in events like this. Pingers around every corner, hitting window sills and tin roofs.
  3. I hope so. Last March was abysmal. I am ready for the epic March. And I don’t think being down is unwarranted. It is Feb 23 and I basically have zero pack on the ground. LOL that’s pretty bad.
  4. My snow stake blew over in the storm. Pathetic. LOL Strong south winds are murder here. Hopefully no more of that crap until later in April. Twice in a row in mid to late Feb is tough.
  5. Yeah, next week appears to have two shots for decent upslope events. I am really hoping this Friday deal keeps shifting north and I can get 6-10" of cement. Then a fluffy topper next week and things will at least look back to normal even if the depth is way below normal.
  6. Would be nice if climo ever asserted itself.
  7. It would be better if there was any snow pack left in NNE.
  8. My pack is mostly gone. Total restart here. Making me ready to head back to MD for spring honestly.
  9. Winds just shifted out of the south and just like that it’s 37. Time to melt.
  10. Yes, natural skiing is basically gone anywhere near the beaten path. No pics of J. Spin and PF blasting through champagne powder at the resorts are forthcoming any time soon. Manmade groomed trails is about it. The base has been obliterated and will need to be rebuilt. That's why I have been saying that 6" of high ratio fluff isn't even going to help much. We need back-to-back wet 12-15" jobs to get back on track. Hopefully this one keeps coming north as it would deliver the first one we need.
  11. You are lucky your premium is not changing. Insurance costs have absolutely skyrocketed the last two years. They were already high and rising for like a decade plus, but COVID sent them really soaring. It's becoming unsustainable, and salaries will need to be cut or benefits dropped for some small businesses. It's not even a profit thing in some cases, just a staying afloat thing. 40% increase since last year for us. That's nuts. Something has to change with this.
  12. Yes I know. But in the last cutter I was already like 60 when the rain hit. I'm 30 degrees colder this time because the winds are not raging out of the south. Very light winds only here now out of the east. Much better setup for me to stay colder.
  13. Still 31, CAD holding much better here than the last cutter.
  14. Little jumps like the Euro just made will help up here for sure. Hope they continue until go time. I need more than just pixie dust to turn things around.
  15. CAD doing a lot better here on E/SE winds. Holding at 31.
  16. Since you guys can't agree on the snow versus sleet situation you should just send it up here where it will be all cold, fresh powder.
  17. Sweet, looks like another dry March it is!
  18. How long until we get the posts from the SNE jackpot zones saying they don't even want the snow?
