Definitely a weird day for upslope. All day it looked like the snow would start at any minute but then it just fizzles and the clouds lighten up again.

Probably a bad idea for us to risk having first contact with an advanced alien race being them seeing runs of the CMC, UKMET, and NAVGEM. Very high likelihood they would see us as non-sentient ants and target Earth for orbital strip mining.

I remember looking at the 18z Euro yesterday evening and noticed it was very paltry, seemed like a bust could be on the table because some of the amounts forecasted for the Greens were getting really up there.

Makes sense the 2 days in the entire month of March that I am in MD are when Randolph gets like 2-3 feet. You can lock that shit right in.

Yeah, those wipeouts are scary but kids are mostly rubber and bounce back up.

Gorgeous at BW today. Very firm and fast conditions. Perfect for carving on the groomed runs. The ungroomed stuff is really sketchy, IMO. But these are dream conditions for me right now.

I assume this would be trying to capture the Canadian market, like Jay Peak? It's way up there. A haul even from Berlin which isn't exactly considered "easily accessible" by the crowds down south that drive most of the ski business up here.

The records for Randolph say I have about 45" of snow left to go. Doesn't look very promising to me on the models since we punt half of March at least, but we will see. I could see a sloppy 30" dump at 32 degrees in April after most of my pack has turned to mud that kinda cheats me most of the way there, I guess.

Expecting another 1-3" deal here. That seems to be the typical upslope amount outside of a special setup. Been plenty of these after the synoptic side of things went extinct.
