I haven’t checked on the latest science, but I don’t think the vaccine has any magical powers beyond just triggering what your own body does when you get COVID, so if you just had COVID there is little reason to get the vaccine right now.

It’s blown around a lot and settled but about 5-7 inches last 2 days I’d wager. It’s not easy to measure this stuff with the “stick the ruler in the pile” method. The snow yesterday morning was getting torched by the solar input basically as fast as it fell, for example. CoCoRaHS neighbor had 5.2" as of 0700 this morning. Probably added 2-3 or so since then. In a lull now, we will see what transpires later.

It’s definitely a mentality change for me because outside of NNE upslope regions most events last 12-24 hours at best. So they are discrete and measured as such.

Yep, the streak of no snowfalls over 2" has been broken at 39 days. Hopefully a sign of more snow to come.

There are already undiscovered variants out there against which the current vaccines are mostly ineffective. That is the nature of highly contagious respiratory viruses like this. Your vaccine is already pointless against the latest variant. That’s why there is no cold vaccine.
