  1. 18z GFS moved east too. Or is colder at least. Pretty close for NNH. Need a couple more shifts.
  2. Definitely a more stable bunch here. Have a great day!
  3. A couple more tics east could get me some snow.
  4. That would be awesome, and I am hopeful that is how this goes.
  5. Good luck to NVT. Looks like mostly rain and a possible death knell for ski places in NH. I’m headed back south this week. Just mud around here now.
  6. We will see. Been a “good” year for conspiracy theorists... Seeing plenty of support for stores and domestic airlines implementing this.
  7. For better or worse, a lot of masks off at BW this week. They aren’t saying a word about it.
  8. Ok I’ll stop now. Some people here scare me though.
  9. Wow... OK. Are you good with stores discriminating on other health status items, such as flu vaccination or if they have a cold? What about criminal record? Financial status? Or just this one thing and nothing else?
  10. Sure, for fights to places such as Uganda and for extremely deadly diseases such as yellow fever. Not for domestic flights and to go into a store. Let’s not conflate these two very different things.
  11. Hoping the low verifies a little east of progged right now. I am not far off from getting into the good snows.
  12. They are working to build consensus for continued lockdowns, social distancing, endless booster vaccines, and health passports. Once you learn to identify media propaganda tactics, it becomes sickening to see how they operate.
  13. Yes, my post was referring to the Baltimore/DC region. I hate it down there now.
  14. Should we keep it going for flu as well? That virus also kills a bunch of people. Safety first and all that.
  15. Really hoping for a cool, breezy, cloudy summer up here. Last summer was too hot and humid.
  16. I go down there all the time. I can verify they didn't have any monster storms. Randolph beat them handily. Wildcat had rain at the summit in the mid-Jan storm I believe, which is just nuts to me. The early December storm was destroyed by Grinch, so that didn't help much with building a base. They did about as well as I did in the early Feb storm. Those three are literally it for notable synoptic events this winter. They seem to do OK with upslope sometimes at least which helped them get to 96".
  17. My Ambient is pretty good. It serves the purpose. Sometimes a little wonky with the phone app and the base station requires reset. But usually reliable and seems decently accurate. The rain gauge can be way off in heavy/windy events which is a very common thing here. The anemometer seems OK, although there are no other obs around to compare to really; it never seems to do anything crazy and I mostly trust it. I'd recommend one if you are mostly looking for temp/humidity and don't want to spend much money.
  18. That one seems even more up in the air than usual. I wouldn't make any firm plans. Models have been shifting around a lot.
  19. The Grinch storm was horrifying, and I will never forget it. It ruined a white Christmas for me.
  20. I think we'd be OK too, but that's not what happens with vaccine passports, and I am not seeing our political leaders setting that metric and sticking to it.
  21. COVID has been a total mess for employers. I have been dealing with legal issues and a flood of irrational, career-destroying behavior from employees. So many tweaked people out there. I cannot imagine what a customer-facing establishment like a hair salon or restaurant is dealign with between the general uncertainty, the employees, and the customers. It must be incredibly draining.
  22. It's a ramp up in fear-mongering propaganda because fewer and fewer people will get the vaccine going forward in time. The initial rush of those who desperately needed or desperately wanted the vaccine will begin to wind down long before we get anywhere near 100% vaccinated. The efforts to "compel" those who have not received the vaccine yet are starting... It should concern anyone who cares even the slightest bit about our rights as free adults.
  23. This whole thing is about to go from a social media tiff to real anger and outbursts if one side of the debate tries to implement and enforce vaccine passports (a vaccine mandate) on the other half. People need to take a knee and think real hard about the past year and what has happened and what was promised by politicians and experts before going further, IMO.
  24. Not a fan of where things are headed now, but I am in the minority on this, I guess, at least in terms of who is loudest on the Internet. Hope everyone enjoys their vaccine passports and continued lockdowns. I'm sure none of that can end badly for us.
  25. Good show of crisis leadership there...
