  1. I don’t get where you say it hasn’t even been looked at here. States are already implementing systems. NY has an active passport system. The Federal govt is planning to develop national standards. This has been covered in the media. Also, basically no one expected to be restricted and forcibly masked for over a year when they said “two weeks to slow the spread.” 2020 has shown these things can change over time.
  2. That’s fine. If you are not worried about, then it’s all good. Some of us are worried about it, though.
  3. It’s being implemented in Europe. I think 2020 has shown us these conspiracy theories come true sometimes now...
  4. Yes, agreed. I find it really hard to believe he has 8 inches outside of a pile like that unless he hiked up another couple hundred feet and measured behind a boulder. Even there is melted out now.
  5. So many disingenuous and sarcastic arguments have been tossed out there lately... "Your phone spies on you and you don't care!" "You already need a vaccine passport to travel (to parts of Africa)!" "(Some) schools already require proof of vaccines (e.g., MMR)!" I feel like people are just purposely dodging the real concern because deep-down the precedence it sets bothers them too. Whatever. Can people please be honest and acknowledge it isn't "standard practice" in this country to need to show proof of vaccination and health status to walk into a store or attend a baseball game?
  6. That little piece of paper your mom kept in a drawer with the birth certificate? Yeah, not the same at all as to what is being proposed. Come on.
  7. My phone does not know my medical history, and, even if it did, my phone is not barring me from participating in society over that information.
  8. I follow all CDC guidelines in every aspect of my life. I make sure to cook all steaks to a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees for at least three minutes, and I ALWAYS keep the ketchup in the fridge!
  9. Hopefully that look continues all summer and then finally breaks down in November.
  10. To be fair, the Randolph guy is officially reporting 3 inches, which still seems super generous but I am not there to verify. The reference to 8” at the stake was in the text of his report. So that might be a ruler stuck in a plow pile kind of deal.
  11. When running out of gas is a bigger worry than the "deadly virus"... a sure sign of a serious pandemic, for sure.
  12. LOL The treadmill race is never going to end, dude. There will always be another "variant." Just like the flu viruses...
  13. Yes, super weenie zone. The ground up there is flat, or even slopes down towards the north a little by the Ice Gulch trailhead which is where he is AFAIK. It clearly gets much less solar exposure than my lot. Also heavily wooded around. It's a great spot for retention, for sure. But his reports in late March and April have been kinda suspect, IMO. Zero reason to doubt him up to this point. But the reports of nearly full coverage from a couple weeks ago and 8" at the stake now are not really representative of the general area at all. Maybe in some small zone behind his barn in the woods.
  14. FL and TX are wastelands full of dead bodies now, or they will be in two weeks.
  15. His latest ob says 8” at the “stake.” That has to be in a drift pile at this point. LOL There was very little snow there when I left on Friday. Just piles. I still have piles I could put a ruler in and measure 8”.
  16. 3” of depth sounds kinda suspect, but I am not there to verify so it could be real. Agree that this is the time of the season I would expect to see major deltas with my neighbor. I saw some early in the season as well. It was melting as it was falling at my place most of the day yesterday. It was all snow but just stopped accumulating once the sun was up high. I need to get a cam set up by my barn, that’s my best retention spot.
  17. 32 degrees with light wet snow at the house, based on the cams at least, I'm not there.
  18. Yeah, save the rainy days for August and September. We don't need them now.
  19. Yes, it is, actually. Wife's side. Was really a nice day. Very little COVID talk.
  20. The orioles will go wire-to-wire this season. LOL
  21. Easter out on a relative’s deck this evening in MD. Warm and spring-like.
  22. You don’t even live anywhere near New England, yet you come by every night just to tag posts going back several pages. Get a hobby or something dude. LOL I’m sure the food truck fryer could use another scrubbing.
