  1. It’s completely unsustainable.
  2. Surprised to see you going down the road of demanding everyone get a jab so that maybe, just maybe our benevolent govt overlords will allow us to have some tiny crumbs of freedom back.
  3. It’s the opposite, actually. Flu kills more kids. I meant similar in terms of mutations and regular shots.
  4. For those who actually think they will die from COVID, sure. If I was 400 lbs and diabetic I would definitely get the shot.
  5. Those people should have realized COVID is more like a cold or flu. There will be no single shot that vaccinates you for years. Can’t help if people are ignorant.
  6. The vaccine efficacy talk is probably a red herring at this point because we will never get anywhere near 70-80 percent vaccinated without really nasty govt overreach. People who want it can get it, otherwise, open ‘er up.
  7. Definitely has something to do with it. I am used to long lines, but this was a mob. Filled up the entire lower level of the terminal building, basically. Luckily we didn't need a rental, otherwise we might still be standing there.
  8. Enormous line at the rental car kiosk area at Orlando airport. Had to have been thousands of people queued up in there. Must have been a weather disaster at the rental car facility or something. Never seen such a debacle.
  9. LOL How many of those x-rays were taken of 450 lb diabetics with COPD and heart failure? Sounds like you are a real fear-porn connoisseur.
  10. It's about the implication of govt control and concern it will never go away. Some folks don't mind wearing a nasty cloth over their face for 12 hours a day, full of bacteria and other viruses and sneeze goo and spit. That's fine for them. They can keep wearing them forever and ever. None of us care. But don't force the rest of us to play along with what is very clearly a pointless charade that is obvious to anyone who has been to a restaurant or on a plane lately...
  11. Yeah, I get that and understand. But it should be a choice to stay home to avoid a disease, especially now that we have a vaccine I am told is nearly 100% effective at preventing death. That's all I am saying.
  12. I don't like when people cough on me either, but I'm not about to hide at home or wear a mask forever over it. Was getting coughed on a regular issue for people prior to 2020?
  13. Virtue signaling (like wearing an American-flag pin circa 2001 to 2016)
  14. Shit, I bet she has some crazy COVID-related stories.
  15. I am already seeing more and more people just not wearing them. It's become a really bad look to be a Karen and attack someone over not wearing a mask. The worm does seem to have turned on that, although there are still strange stories of cops suddenly going berserk and swarming some housewife at Target over her face diaper being missing. It's the same cops that sometimes arrest second-graders, I guess.
  16. ORH will jackpot. They are already floating down rivers in tubes and grilling shirtless up in NNE, and I wouldn't expect that to change.
  17. Just a plain ol' 737-800 this time.
  18. Honestly, if you are wrong we are in big trouble and this really has become about control and submission. We all pray you are right.
  19. Wow, imagine that, giving people the choice to take charge of their own personal health! You love to see it.
  20. Nice! We finally board from ORF in about 30 mins.
  21. Family I can see, but you can be a cop anywhere. If you had an issue on duty or someone accused you of something, do you think the NYPD and DeBlasio would have your back? It really takes guts to be a cop in an urban area these days.
  22. Why do you still live In NYC?
  23. Yes, the things I am seeing at these airports lately has me really questioning the “science” at this point. It’s all theater. I just ate and drank at a place that was so packed people were on top of each other with no masks, but when you went to order at the bar you had to stand in line six feet apart, even if that put you basically on top of another table.
  24. That’s fine, but the “science” of a night at the bar seems kinda silly now. COVID goes away when my buds and I lean on a bar top and start sipping a drink?
