  1. LOL how about neither? What "finish line" is left after this?
  2. I would expect about as much compliance as there was then, as well.
  3. Get ready, they are going to get big mad now that the "vaccine hesitant" were able to wait this out and never got what was coming to them.
  4. The vast majority of businesses are just going to post a sign and that will be that. Clearly, the Federal government doesn't see any risk of non-vaccinated people "mingling" with the vaccinated since there has been little traction on vaccine passports.
  5. I wonder how many of the vaccinated gang is going to be really pissed that they never got those special rights they were promised for getting an experimental vaccine that made them feel like death for 4 days? LOL
  6. Yeah, it seems to have not gained traction. Not a big surprise since it is a logistical and legal nightmare.
  7. What are you expecting the anti-mask/anti-vax crowd to do? Refuse to leave their homes? I have no idea where you guys get the idea that the people who hate masks and are avoiding the vaccine are scared of COVID... it seriously makes no sense.
  8. ?? It's a great day for that crowd. The restrictions are going away long before we reach the silly threshold targets for case counts and percent vaxxed the "experts" said were required. There is no sign of vax passports either. The anti-mask/anti-vax crowd won out. LOL what a misread, dude.
  9. Clearly all restrictions can now be dropped now, but the CDC needs to pretend that they are in control of things and have a grasp on the real risk from COVID in this country. So they will continue to slow-roll to give off the impression something "scientific" is changing week to week... blatantly clear what is going on.
  10. Sounds like some vaccine demand challenges: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/get-vaccinated-ohio-get-shot-1-million-gov-mike-dewine-n1267176 Now that things are opening back up long before reaching the "herd immunity" threshold, I expect demand to remain very weak.
  11. Good, but they should just remove all restrictions now. This slow-rolling feels just like an attempt to make it seem like these restrictions were actually needed up until very recently. Classic government inertia effect.
  12. Kind of ridiculous that Elon is able to openly manipulate the market like this and no action has been taken yet. He's clearly seeing how far he can take this.
  13. Yeah, same here. My wife and I try to watch these shows together but then she falls asleep 10 minutes in, or the kids come running in, or one of us goes upstairs for a few mins to "grab a snack" and then gets distracted and forgets to come back. LOL
  14. Those who know, don't talk about it. Those who don't know, talk about it.
  15. Stupid. Holding a fake dog coin that was running on meme power alone is just dumb. Take the free money and bail. I don't understand these people who actually buy in and plan to hold long term on this stuff. It's insane enough you can make money from this at all. If a wizard suddenly materialized in your living room and asked, "Choose quickly mortal! 100,000 dollars now or run the Gauntlet of Eternal Pain for a chance at 1,000,000 dollars?" Take the 100k, man!
  16. They have black bears down here sometimes so I would assume they have them there. Their range has been expanding.
  17. I agree that we shouldn't have mega-billionaires who can literally control our speech and subvert our power as consumers in a democratic society. It's totally out of control. Bring out the guillotines for these guys for all I care. Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey should not be allowed to decide if people have a voice online. Recent history has shown, however, that these revanchist ideas end up hitting the middle class small businesses instead of the big guys, who can simply write off massive "losses" to dodge taxes and shift production overseas. If liberals are ready to take on all big business, even those big businesses who are currently attacking the right wing, I am all for it. Let's do it.
  18. I am behind on so many shows. My wife and I made it halfway through season 1 of GOT and that was it.
  19. Pigs get fed, hogs get slaughtered.
  20. I guess, if mom and dad were dummies who didn't know how to explain earning potential versus school debt accumulation on a simple graph. Just drifting through life microdosing on hallucinogenic mushrooms and consuming edibles while grinding your teeth about the man screwing you is one option.
  21. I certainly don't let Boomers off the hook. They raised the Millennials. The Boomers were handed the keys to America in the form of a brand new Corvette in perfect running condition and then proceeded to wrap it around a tree and then turn into greedy capitalists. More young people need a hard edge out there, IMO. The number 1 way to have success is just be hungry and be willing to step on other slower people to get what you want. You hear your boss complaining that some other guy is dropping the ball? Walk into his office and tell him you have seen the same thing and will take on the responsibility and get it done. Free tip for the day.
  22. Don't hate the player, hate the game. I hope every post of mine you read motivates you to get in shape, get some skills, and move up. Beat me at my own game. Grind me into dust and laugh at me.
  23. Have you considered that the 1940s through 1960s were a very unique time where the US was literally rebuilding Europe and Asia?
  24. Way too jaded and bitter. That's the Meteor 2020 crowd.
  25. I am so glad you decided to start posting. LOL
