NH’s state run liquor stores are awesome. I always find all sorts of unique and rare stuff in there. Even the stores in Gorham and Berlin are big and well-stocked with neat things. I much prefer that setup to the MD free-for-all setup where you never know what a store will carry.

The weather angle is true, but in those cases they authorize telework for contractors right away as the govt workers are permitted to telework as well. We are dealing with a scenario now where the govt offices are closed and on mandated “holiday” so teleworking for contractors is not always being authorized for this new holiday.

What a mess with this Juneteenth Federal closure. I don’t mind the holiday, but issuing the guidance at 3 PM the afternoon before has caused total pandemonium for anyone supporting Federal agencies.

If you were the guy on the dotted line, you’d be aware that most insurance companies are not covering all COVID-related claims right now and that there has been a huge rise in the number of such claims. The insurance companies are happy to tell you this as soon as you call them up. Seems like you are just another finance worm playing with other people’s money and not your own. People stopped considering that a noble profession in 2008.

Basically everyone here saying “white fragility” and posting snowflakes at those who are worried about mask mandates and shutdowns is a basic worker bee who has never been sued for millions of dollars over a mask.

This might be the first time we cheered those who wanted to transform society in radical ways over their irrational fear, however. I don’t see anyone in power calling for banning airplanes because some people are scared of them.

Looks like Randolph picked up half an inch. It was needed for sure. Still need a lot more. I’m not there, but the weather looks very nice. Epic conditions for outdoor activities (other than swimming).
