The new layout is an improvement overall, IMO. Very clean look.

Definitely wasted whitespace to the right of the main content on desktop. I assume that can be tweaked. Edit: I guess it's for the sidebar. Sidebars are dumb, just get rid of it.

PWS is saying .56” so far. Best rain in quite some time. I think several inches are needed to make up the deficit. Rainy season in the Randolph desert.

Yes, that’s it. But I think Cosby’s lawyer only advised Cosby to testify in the civil suit because he believed the DA would not press charges. There must have been statements or messages from the DA that were pretty firm for the PA Supreme Court to see fit to just vacate the entire thing.

DC can be the same way. Sometimes you get lucky. The unpredictability is what gets you. We have an inside joke about it around here in the defense community. If you have an 11 AM meeting at the Pentagon, do you leave at 6 AM and maybe get there right on time or 4 hours early, or do you leave at 9:30 and arrive right on time or 3 hours late? Impossible to really know. Also, if you aren’t back in the car headed north by 2:45 at the latest, you may as well stay for dinner and leave at 8.

We’ve done quite a bit of hiring down there over the last 2 years and it takes a lot of money for people to accept the commute. I have also found that certain people just love living there despite all the BS. Makes no sense to me, I find it to be a suburban strip-mall wasteland myself. I guess it’s the same reason people put up with all the bullshit that comes with living in NYC.

His original lawyer must have been terrible. Taking the “word” of the DA that he won’t prosecute instead of getting it in writing is gross legal malpractice.

Must have been at 2:30 AM. Traffic is usually much slower on 495 between 4 AM and 9 PM (that's "rush hour").

If Tylenol and Advil gave you stomach ulcers after 2 days it would definitely be noteworthy.

I'm hoping the precip firehose of the last couple decades lifts north soon. My temps will be plenty cold for snow even in a GW regime. No sense wasting it on slop and rain in SNE.

Almost 10:15 and still 76/70 in Randolph. Glad I am not there. This is brutal weather with no AC. The humidity is inescapable.

I assume it is solar and wireless. Most of the remote units are solar with battery backup now, I think. I have one from Ambient Weather that works that way. It's fine for my needs. You will need a hard line for the base station inside connected to your router.

Overnight low was 73 with a DP of 67. Just nasty without AC. Glad I am not there.

Seems like Canada and Australia are fully in the grips of a "casedemic." I hear very little talk from those countries of deaths or hospitalizations. It's all about cases and deep, deep contact tracing, to include tattling on your neighbors and cops going door-to-door. It's a decent case study for what happens when a mommy state goes overboard and crazy chasing an impossible goal in the name of "safety."
