Agree on the casedemic, but if someone thinks it’s a casedemic, why would they be OK with government mandating masks and lockdowns over it? That sheepish acceptance of rules that don’t even make sense is the part I don’t get. I couldn’t resolve that kind of discrepancy in my worldview.

That “guidance” destroyed hundreds of thousands of livelihoods and mental states over the last 18 months. Seems kinda ridiculous to just act like this is the same as the CDC saying to grill steaks well done.

If your viewpoint on all this was you were being a good citizen and would get a cookie from the government for taking the vaccine, and those who refused would get their comeuppance soon, I could see how this latest CDC guidance would really be depressing.
