It's interesting to now see people who preached "follow the science moron!" since March 2020 now finally starting to question the prevailing CDC/WH narratives. The unvaccinated have been questioning them all along, and people literally wished death on us as a result of that.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I wasn't thinking of it that way, but you are right most folks do associate maple syrup with VT, same as people associate Philadelphia with cheesesteaks and the south with BBQ, but obviously any town in the country could make good BBQ or cheesesteaks if they put in the effort and had the ingredients available.

Hmm, wasn't aware of that debate. I haven't really sampled much local maple syrup so I can't really weigh in. There are several sugar houses right near my place.

It's the best bet when you need to get 10 cheese pizzas to feed your son's little league team after a game though. LOL

I definitely know the kind of place you guys mean. One just opened down here closer to the beach towns that is doing the gourmet brick-oven thing. 12" pizzas with all organic ingredients, local artisan cheeses, arugula, imported olive oil, heirloom tomatoes, etc. $20+ The kind of place I am talking about looks like this: The guy making the pizza looks like this:

That menu looks like a more hip spot. Probably all fair trade ingredients and vegan pizzas. LOL ripping off high young adult dreamers in hip towns is a classic move. This was the freaking local sub shop in rural southern DE. The pizza isn’t even good.

Five guys is like at least 80 bucks for the six of us. That’s 6 little burgers and a small fry to split. It’s insane. All fast food is through the roof now. Another reason to mostly avoid it.

Pick up. It was nuts. I have noticed prices creeping up, but that was a jump for sure. For people on tight budgets each month it must be really tough to get all the food in under budget now.

So I guess now we pay $50 for two large cheese pizzas and a medium pepperoni? But inflation isn’t real? I just paid that. I have to wonder how much of people’s credit card debt is now just food.
