Having to rebuild my whole phone today reminded me how terrible things have gotten with passwords and multi-factor authentication. All these crazy ass long passwords and logging in to different laptops or other phones to verify it's really me or get a passcode to enter. Damn annoying.

How confident are you deep down that your vax can protect you from Delta?

Still seems like the flu situation to me. You get the vaccine in late summer to get you through the time of highest risk in winter and early spring. It makes sense to me that after 6-8 months natural immunity would be helped by a fresh vaccine shot. Same as a six month old vaccine shot apparently needs a booster... I'm assuming the cases for the natural immunity crowd were still mild, though.

The CDC needed to release something like this to get the vaccine narrative back on track. They really should just focus on deaths though.

Delta doing what it does. I’m sure 99.9999999999% of the cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are the unvaccinated though. No worries.

I think many more people had COVID than the official tally says and they didn't even realize. Many people have delta now too, IMO. I flew all over the place in 2020 and ate out constantly. I definitely got it.

I don't know anyone who had more than a mild case of the sniffles from it. It is kind of interesting how much it varies from person to person.

There is a decent chance you already had COVID. But the vaccine should always be free and readily available to all who want it. It will be just like the flu vaccine. People will get it in some cases because they just don't feel like dealing with Omega 'vid this year. That's why I get the flu vaccine.

Federal contractors are not the same thing as Federal employees. I am not surprised to hear you jumped at the chance to get vaccinated at the first opportunity. I assume you will also be first in line for a booster too.

No, only millions of them. I get it, you are being IMBY here like a true weather weenie. If they aren’t mandating vaccines in your town, it’s not any concern. That’s fine.

Think about how much extra money a guy like Bezos made because of COVID lockdowns. It’s crazy. And he is allowed to own one of the biggest newspapers pushing the COVID narrative and others. It’s like robber baron stuff at this point. Almost a caricature of the corporate villain from a move like RoboCop.

It really is the very top elite versus everyone else. I really wish more people realized that. These guys became even wealthier because of COVID, to an outrageous degree.

Well luckily I had an old backup to restore to the phone. Lost some stuff though. I guess my phone had not been backing up to my laptop even over wifi. No surprise.

But the unvaccinated already decided it is over. We need you guys to come on board and stop saying mask and vaccine mandates make sense.
