  1. I've been boiled in dews since April. I'm done with it. People have had 6 months now to sit outside and tend their gardens and float in their pools. Time to shut 'em down.
  2. Still hitting the beach and tubing down warm streams in SNE, but we are doing fall up here.
  3. The trees are going to do what they want anyway regardless of what we all want. LOL
  4. Best to me is when there are bright oranges and reds mixed with some deep greens. That's "peak" to me. Not quite there yet. Once the quaking aspen and paper birch turn their rather boring shade of yellow, it's over, IMO.
  5. It never works right for me on any platform. They messed it up so much.
  6. Another shot from yesterday. Leaves are little more vibrant than the picture indicates, but still a ways to go.
  7. Having a decent stereo in the living room is how I grew up and definitely a cool thing to do today. I agree on the quality differences between compressed MP3 shit through a BT speaker and what you can get out of a real setup that fills a room. I always enjoyed having music on in the living room while just doing whatever. Seems now most people use TV reruns as background noise instead.
  8. Bigger issue is most modern music is not crafted around the idea of listening to an entire album these days; it's all about singles and remixes. For older stuff where the artists actually put time and care into crafting an entire album experience, vinyl is awesome.
  9. Yeah, that is a really nice feature of Wildcat for sure. I hope things are decent there this season. They need more snow, for sure.
  10. 55/53, starting to clear out. Not a drop from the sneaky Maine storm, which is fine by me.
  11. Hope it stays dry here for the next couple weeks so everyone can enjoy the fall colors and not be dealing with swampy conditions.
  12. Keep the rains in Maines. All good here. Drove by Wildcat a bit ago and there was a ton of water flowing down the mountain.
  13. No worries. I get what you are trying to say. Whenever I drive up rt 2 past Randolph I think about what it would be like to put a ski place up there. Or on the side of Adams/Madison.
  14. Let’s get this shit out of here please. We have enough rain.
  15. It’s funny you mention garage doors. There is a new cabin in Randolph that was built last year and it still has a tarp hanging over the garage opening. Otherwise the owners are moved in.
  16. I grew up skiing in the mid-Atlantic and loved it.
