    Definitely a change in the air out there, and it happened quickly as many here predicted. Whereas it seemed a couple weeks ago that some early morning cold snow showers would be a tall order, now it seems like it could be any day now.

    All set here. The endless breezes blew the leaves into the woods as usual and the truck is all set. Tons of firewood hoarded. Let it snow.

    That’s interesting. Last season at Cannon they left a bunch of piles for days on a trail my kids and I wanted to do and I was that guy on the lift wondering why they were not grooming them for so long. LOL

    How quickly can some of these places blow snow to get some trails open? The extended doesn't look all that cold to me through the early part of November so any plans to open the 2nd to 3rd week of November seem kinda suspect. I am not sure how quickly they can get it going though.
