  1. We all ski and BW is our main mountain, for sure. We also ski at Cannon on a regular basis and will add Wildcat in this season assuming the conditions are good. That mountain was pretty rough last season unless you enjoy a hot mess where you are fighting the terrible conditions the entire way down. Not my cup of tea, but some people seem to get into that.
  2. 34 and still rather breezy here hill side.
  3. My 7 year old wanted a helmet cam to record her shredding adventures this season so I hope to get a Youtube channel going with clips. I will post it here once we get going.
  4. So that's how @alex pads those totals. I may need to hit my snow stake spot with the snow blower a couple times to compensate.
  5. Doggo says: "Again with the camera?"
  6. And then Heatster? Don't forget Lavalentine's Day.
  7. Ah, the age old debate about whether Thanksgiving is a holiday where you sit inside with sweaters on next to a roaring fire or sit outside on the patio in cargo shorts sipping margaritas. I go with the former, myself. Seems like most of my Thanksgiving memories involve opening windows in the house to let in some air and extinguishing the fireplace, though.
  8. It was a good spot last winter so I figured as good a spot as any. LOL I have another stake on the south side (MD one in the pic yesterday that gets tons of sun) so I can compare.
  9. Does it count as a snowpack if I still have a dusting by my snow stake?
  10. Damn PF, looks like true winter form already.
  11. A quick drive into Gorham or Berlin during a marginal winter event or upslope period tells me all I need to know about being on the hill or down in a rad pit. I will be 30 with heavy snow and the rad pits are 36 with rain. Happens frequently up here.
  12. 23 was the low here on the hill. The radiator kings were out in force in their pits I see.
  13. Mostly blocked. Much better to the south.
  14. 30 already. Chilly night ahead.
  15. Bread and butter starting up early. Let's hope it bodes well for the rest of the early season.
  16. Sweet pics. Always nice to get on the board and get the monkey off your back.
  17. Mulch is white. First dusting of the season! Legit moderate now.
  18. Temp down to 32 so we’ll see if I can get a slushy coating.
  19. Temp dropped to 35 but just melting on contact. Very nice to see though. Welcome back, winter.
