  1. 6z still looks good for up here. Definitely looking like some snow chances second half of the month for NNE.
  2. Alex down to 29, radiating like mad. Looks like just down the road slope side at Bretton Woods is still 39. LOL That's fake cold for sure.
  3. White Christmas is nearly a lock here based on historical stats but the grinch storm was so bad it still has me spooked.
  4. Thanks for the write-up PF. Makes sense to me. I have been seeing the same mid-slope climo deal here last several nights.
  5. My family and I all miss skiing so much we are anxiously awaiting the first top to bottom run to open in NH. We won't be picky about conditions.
  6. Looks like a nice quiet neighborhood at least.
  7. Pretty amazing what those snowmakers can do in just a couple days.
  8. Historical records show that the second half of November can absolutely slay here. Would be awesome to get an early start to winter. Feels like a long time since I have seen that.
  9. The lowly Vikings carving the AFC North leaders like a Thanksgiving roast. Pathetic.
  10. Thanks, I was trying to look at the trail map and figure out what they are doing. I have never skied there before. They seem to be into this "gimmick" first open and last closed deal but I think it's pretty cool they put that effort in. I sometimes wish other ski places I frequent were that obsessed with getting open and would spend the money, but sometimes they seem content to just wait or unable to make snow even when temps cooperate (*cough* Wildcat).
  11. Does Killington provide a top to bottom path or is this part hiking?
  12. Yeah, it seems like they had a decent winter there last season. That area can still get mega-torched, but I guess so can Randolph these days (Grinch storm).
  13. My temps last January-March barely moved between the range of 15-25 for weeks on end. I can probably compete for the title of narrowest temp change range. I definitely don't get the swings here that the radiators get.
  14. Western MD, certainly. They average about 100" out there in some spots. Retention is bad, though. They get torched a lot.
  15. Low was 25 last night. Crazy big spread between me and the radiators further south.
  16. That picture would make @tamarack weep like the Native American from the old pollution ad.
  17. Reminds me of my old MD neighbor who mowed 3 times a week and used the gas blower/trimmer every day. Was glad when he moved.
  18. Yeah we plan to hit Cranmore this season. Seems like a neat little mountain. Reminds me of some of the smaller hills in the southern regions that work hard to put out a good product and cater to families versus hardcore ski nuts who want to do battle with the mountain.
