  1. It’s actually down the hill from me on rt 2 so runs a few degrees warmer. Seems accurate today. I hit 61 degrees with some gusts near 60. Weird weather day.
  2. Yep. I had about 2 inches OTG and 60 degrees with high winds for hours wiped that out easily. Clean slate again.
  3. I’ve got plentiful stiff tropical breezes rolling down from the peaks to my south here.
  4. Gusts to mid 50s now. As windy as I have ever seen it during my time here.
  5. Definitely did not expect to have some of the warmest obs in New England today. The weather here is always surprising to me.
  6. I honestly will take this over 45 and drizzle right now. Been a decent day, really.
  7. Yep, 60 and mostly sunny are my current obs. I have been torching all day.
  8. My PWS says it's gusting in the 40s. Very windy out.
  9. Must be another quiet day in the NJ forum. Everyone comes here to troll because this is where the interesting weather happens.
  10. Billionaires in space stations... what could go wrong?
  11. Couple more moves like that and the storm will be back.
  12. Up to 44 with bits of sun breaking through. LOL Basically zero liquid precip here so far.
  13. Mine does. If i was single id be living in maine Life is short. You need to just make the move. It will never be the right time and your wife will always throw up excuses why it can't happen and she must remain parked in the dreadfully boring NoVA suburbs until you croak. You need to break through.
  14. One of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. They have Tucker.
  15. 2 inches here. My “usual.” 23 with some flurries around still.
  16. A few decent bursts so far. 22 degrees.
  17. Low was 13 here, breezy all night as usual.
  18. I also ski with 4 small kids of varying confidence levels and it's a lot easier for me to handle them all on a nicely groomed, predictable trail. My one son and daughter will go off on the edges and ski bumps and weave in and out of the trees with no issues (they also sometimes go in the glades) but my other two kids really just prefer reliable groomers right now. BW also tends to not be too icy. Cannon is so bad with the ice. We had to stop going last year, every day was bad there with ice. We ski every day so it wasn't just a fluke either; I went to Cannon about 20 days last winter. I think skiing there is a battle of wills thing for people; they want to say they were able to "defeat" the mountain. Obviously they have a loyal following of people. The "living legend" or whatever. LOL legendary ice maybe. I had the kids up at the summit at Cannon a few times and it was just never fun. We made it down fine (my kids can all ski any blue trail and most diamonds with zero issue) but it was us vs. the shit conditions the whole way. BW had the best conditions day in and day out for the kind of family skiing we are doing. It's a long season so we will be back to Sunday River, Cannon, Attitash, Cranmore, Wildcat and maybe Mt. Abram over the course of the season.
