I've not watched a local news broadcast in probably 3 years so I'm out of touch. But it sounds like the weather reporting is a circus these days, not unlike pro wrestling. I miss the olden days of Hinkin reporting rain while it's snowing out.

It's ripping at the moment in south knox 2 miles from downtown!

We've got a slight dusting a mile south of Cedar Bluff. I can't imagine Farragut has much more.

It's 31.5 with a tiny flaked drizzle, or as I like to call it, flizzle. I got in my car and Looks Like Rain by the Grateful Dead was playing on sat radio. Perfect!

Ground is whitening up some, temp down to 32. CC would suggest rain or mix but I'm all moderate snow. Maybe the slop is done?

Have to say, MRX nailed this so far for my location. Rain and snow until 4pm, then snow, 1 to 2 inches. Seems legit.
