    Yeah they can't have a knee jerk reaction with every model run. Just yesterday my neighbor tells me we are getting 10-12. I wasn't gonna argue but I said I wouldn't be surprised if we got a lot less. The general public is clueless when it comes to the intricacies of forecasting.

    Looks like the NAM has the snow/sleet line wrong. Stolen from LakeEffectKing in the Upstate thread.

    Jesus NAM looks pretty icy for the next wave. Very weird how it jumps the low west once it gets to around W PA.

    At this point wouldn't it be better for this to cut further west to push the boundary down for the next wave? The low almost goes to Erie on the NAM.

    Should have known as soon we see serious NW adjustments. Once it starts it usually doesn't stop. Luckily we've done well this year or this would have been a morale destroyer.

    Don't look at the 18z euro yikes its a complete miss. Basically maybe an inch or two of snow.

    Yep basically no snow even for the first overrunning. Do I believe it? No. If the 18z euro and 0z nam bump back southeast then ill feel better about the 4-6 call.

    There's always nowcasting surprises. Maybe we still get lucky with the main course. You never know. Euro does look better with the Thursday deal. Gotta keep an eye on that too

    Yeah im not at work but I saw a snap chat of our alert board and it was accidents all over. 279, 65, 28 etc... Glad I'm not at work today.

    Weird. Between all of the emergency calls and reports from the hospital of an increase of accidents this morning. You think they would have.

    We are probably going to get more snow from the Thursday deal at this point. Off topic but in hearing there is a ton of accidents all over the city. Don't drive if you don't have to.

    Pretty crazy just like 10 days ago we were talking about possible record breaking cold and now we sweating rain for the same time period.
