  1. I was at work all day I barely looked out the window. The rain didn't bother me. I want our next KU. Any storm we get bust or not is just a bonus at this point.
  2. It's the complaint thread boss man and I've stopped getting so attached to every single storm. You should learn how.
  3. but on the other the mix line looks further east than the HRRR is portraying
  4. Well looks like we won't get any backend snow atleast according to the HRRR. I guess we shall see
  5. maybe if all of us weenies set our fans up it will cool another .01 degrees.
  6. fwiw the Mid-Atlantic thread is reporting their temperatures dropping. Maybe this is the beginning of the front dropping down.
  7. Lmao I guess we will be glued to the radar just waiting and watching for the mix line to push south.
  8. Yeah places north and west may have ice but the city is just plain cold rain. No signs of any ice. Shit we maybe lucky to ever change over at this rate. We may never see this front move ever again.
  9. pretty amazing how this front has literally just stopped right in time to keep us all rain. Still could get icy tonight but this doesn't look nearly as bad as it was showing yesterday.
  10. Bridges must be icing up because there is an increase of accidents in the city now. Including one just now on the West End Bridge.
  11. The Canadian is always warmer than every other guidance it seems. I'm guessing we switch over around dinner time.
  12. met from another forum Surface temps appear to be a bit colder than forecast, KPIT is down to 31/29 in west Pittsburgh, and KAGC is now down to 33/32 in the southeast part of the Burgh. Front has cleared all parts of the Burgh, which is seen with both airports now reporting a north wind. Only a matter of time before we begin to ice up as temps continue to drop.
  13. Looks like the metro is right outside the edge of the guidance there
  14. I think tonight will get a little dicey. it doesn't take much accretion to cause problems. Hopefully we get atleast an inch of snow to freshen things up.
  15. 12k NAM has 1 inch of fzr and the 3k has like .25. Sheesh it's definitely nowcasting.
  16. Thats a pretty significant drop, so again colder but the question is does the front continue pushing through or get hung up.
  17. I guess this will come down to nowcasting and seeing where that mix line is throughout the day. I took off tonight, no desire to drive in the ice and snow.
  18. Yeah it definitely feels colder. To be honest the road temperature is what to really focus on atleast until the changeover.
  19. gfs isn't backing down from extreme amounts of fzr. Close to .9 this run. That front is gonna be the difference between shutting down the city for the night and basically a non event. Time for sleep, I'll be curious to see the trends at 6z but usually once we start to see bad trends this close it never reverts.
  20. It's pretty incredible to see. Seems like AGH is always the battle zone.
  21. Unless I'm missing something on the soundings there looks like there is zero evidence of any changeover until late evening at the earliest.
