    Peak climo, we aren't on the coast. It won't take much for us to see snow. Gfs shows some hope at the end of the month into January.

    About an inch. Probably would have been a little more but the ground was warm to start. Hopefully January delivers the goods.

    Yes of course but we need arctic air which the pattern doesn't support. Guess we shall see as we enter January. All it takes is one storm and all the sudden we consider this a good winter. I'm not gonna lie though if I didn't admit that I like snow in December.

    Even if we get snow it's gonna be gone by the end of the week. Until the pattern changes any snow we get is short-lived. Snow atleast will be flying in the air today.

    Can we just wait and see where the bands actually set up before we immediately become negative? Models can only see so much, who knows maybe we get a surprise. The pattern sucks anyway.

    I didn't see it but even their wording says uncertainty since the squals could set up anywhere. Like I said it's now casting and I wouldn't expect anymore than an inch or two at most. Hoping for an inch and I think it's achievable.

    Winter is cooked until January. Everybody enjoy the holidays and if the pattern changes it changes. Nothing you can do at this point. As of right now it doesn't look good for any sustained winter weather.

    I mean you're not wrong. The nation is just getting pounded by pacific air. We need the arctic air to show up or it's gonna be a long boring winter. It's only December but we need to start seeing signs now.
