Lol middle of January with a decent storm track and gfs is showing .75 inches of rain. Yikes -
Ehh I'll stick to my usual, give me a 12+ storm and I'd I'll be happy.

Ehh need some cold air to show up soon or else January is gonna be a dud. Those calls of above average snowfall are already in jeopardy. With that being said we still have some time for some turn around.

Happy New Year, hopefully some snow chances soon. We are current 4 inches below average snowfall to date.

Ehhh I enjoyed the weather but the mud right now is out of control. My one dog is atleast short hair so it could be worse. Honestly if we aren't gonna get snow let it torch. Cold and dry is awful.

Random question but where can I find how many times our NWS has issued a blizzard warning. I would assume that 1993 and 1950 would be for sure atleast two times.

That pacific jet firehose looks to be relaxing which would be a huge step in the right direction.

Merry Christmas everyone. Wish we had a little more snow but atleast there's a covering. Looks like after the little wave next week we torch for a bit. Signs of winter returning early January.

I mean any snow even half an inch would bring some holiday cheer. Only reason I even saw that was somebody in the Buffalo thread posted it since you know they are getting 60 inches.

It's freezing, I can feel the cold coming in from the windows. Might be time to do something about them.

Wish we got more but i guess an inch is better than nothing. Not our usual 60 degree Christmases.

Sounds like our Ohio neighbors are overperforming slightly which may bode well for Western PA. Enjoy it!

Our Ohio friends out west are reporting snow at 37 degrees so this might indicate that the cold air is winning. The reverse of the WTOD.

Hmm everywhere out west is saying the front is faster than modeled so far. Ill be curious to see what happens. Should be a rough morning commute regardless.

I'm guessing our final snow total will depend on how fast the front comes through? I read out west the front came in earlier than modeled. I don't know if that means anything for us downstream.

Every model I'm seeing has us at around 1.5 inches on average. I bet we get an inch but it gets blown around. I guess we shall see.
