    For coastal peeps, this snow potential was always predicated on colder than normal March temps. The real cold air keeps getting pushed back later into March, and sadly I don't have much faith in 30-35 degree for a high days ever materializing.

    Looks like the coldest air in a while coming around the 16th and 17th.

    Even though we won't get much accumulation here the weather is still more wintry than January and most of Feb. Too bad it's getting harder to get cold enough temps now. Got a costing of snow but it's 36 now basically sleet falling.

    The doomers have affected CNN it seems: "Boston and New York City are gearing up for their biggest snow of the season – and it’s not even that much" I agree Boston won't get as much but while 6-7 inches isn't historic, we have had many winters where such a storm was the biggest of the season.

    Map has definite bust potential. I don't see anyone getting much more than 4-8, but I'd move the highest amounts closer to the coast.
