    With the way things are looking, I'll give us about a 30% chance of a white Christmas this year and for this area, that is not a big number unfortunately but that's what we get for way below normal temperature regime and an above normal snowfall regime during the month of November!     Most might as well say goodbye to all this snow that's been building mainly because of its consistency. It may be able to hold most of what falls but wind and high Dp's, that's called a snow eater, and I don't think we see that but there is the possibility that most of us will see grass by tomorrow evening. Does anyone realise that the Tug hasn't seen one, NOT ONE, intense single band yet this fall and that's absolutely F'in NUTS and almost scary to a point! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

    Nah, we got nothing today, except a bunch of graupel in December, lol, cant even get a band to get established because it's too warm, simply pathetic, seriously!     Here we go with the omnipresent, or so it seems, WWA from 4PM to 10AM that will only affect the Northern portion of the State, right where Matt lived, while the Southern portion whiffs the exhaust from whatever insignificant bands that'll be up thata way for most of this evening and tonight!     I wouldn't even call what occurred a lake response but perhaps if temps drop a bit closer to -9 to -11C then things would be a go!

    Its just too damn warm at all lvl's for any appreciable LES, its just that simple! Maybe with some CAA but there is none anywhere!

    LEK and I stood on rt11 in Pulaski and sat under a 8"/band for 1/2 hr 4"!! The magical part was that there was no wind at all, just falling straight down and accumulating at crazy rates!

    My own opinion, the KBUF NWS office went downhill fast, when Tom Niziol left that office and went to TWC but he's getting big bucks there, compared to the horrific gov't pay, or so I've heard, but since he left, I've seen a definite change. He was into the weather, a Weenie at heart and that's what we need, but the public needs level headed, by the book dude who just does his job, objectively, then goes home and then turns into a Weenie, but it's all a disguise, lol!
