  1. Their talking about a week away likes its tomorrow, lol!
  2. Models have really started to trend more closely together in the extended with very amplified ridging popping up to the east and deep southwesterly flow taking shape over the area from the end of the week right into the weekend. This will mean rapidly warming conditions from Thursday into Friday. While this occurs, moisture will be on the increase quite effectively as well. As a result, the cold air in the CWA should evacuate with haste and any snow/wintry mix at the onset of precipitation Thursday night should transition to all rain by Friday. Very high chances of rain continue from Friday into the weekend as the upper pattern really fails to evolve over the area. With a frontal boundary semi-resident to our west, we will remain on the warm side of the boundary with southwest flow in place. A couple of waves down the front will yield a couple of chances of moderate rainfall into the weekend before guidances becomes a bit less clustered by the end of that weekend. After that juncture, some cold air may start to filter back in, but that eventuality is far from set in stone at this time. That whole paragraph makes me wanna puke and i'd like to puke on the Met who wrote this drivel as he sounds happy!
  3. Actually, their already below freezing and I've been so used to upper 30's low 40's that I doesn't even realize it's only 30F, lol, that's sad when the daily high should be right around 29-31F but that's been foreign to us for a while now. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  4. But at least temps this time should get below freezing pretty quickly, especially whoever got some snowcover cause I was still at 33F last night at 10PM so this will be different for sure. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. We all will as I got 2" last night and wasn't expecting even a dusting so I'm ahead of the game and if tonight can deliver 2" then heck, I'll be at 4" and that's the best since November, lol! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  6. I've been watching and laughing as they approach, ugh!, I'm shutting the PC!
  7. Its as though my area is a snow repellent of some sort cause as the squall/shower approaches, it always seems to weaken and it never strengthens, lol, you can't make these things up, unbelievable!
  8. We still haven't reached freezing yet, lol! I mean this is nuts, that we cant go below freezing even with no Sun!
  9. I'm not bothered Matt so please dont think that bro!
  10. I still own on Staten Island off Bloomingdale rd! Any relatives still down there?
  11. I think the NWS mentioned this but I think KBUF can see some squalls from a Georgian Bay connection if it gets established!
  12. I think the Mountains of British Columbia would satisfy you Matt!
  13. I lived in Jersey City, NJ for 28yrs so believe me, the disappointments of those Winters don't even compare to our worst up here, lol!
  14. Im totally relaxed, lol, but I completely understand
  15. Definitely isnt a bad sounding for some local NW flow nuisance snow showers and perhaps a squall or 2.
  16. Wonder how many folks in the NE thread are ready to jump off bridges, lol!
  17. Its just getting better and better, lol, as we head further into the season! Clocks are already headed the other way so......
  18. yeah definitely no lack of cold air with the next event, lol!
  19. Never said I wouldn't post, I said I wouldn't track anymore as I'll leave that to Wolfie, lol, so read the posts before you respond! Im trying to figure out what your expecting, exactly, when it comes to our weather? You lived in the Tug for one season and still you were never satisfied, lol, so what exactly will make you smile? People must have a huge misconception about the Great Lake regions and especially the snow belts because it doesn't always end up that way and I'm sure we all know this.
  20. We can't even get an event that's supposed to drop an inch or 2 to verify Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  21. I will no longer be tracking storms this year because this is going to be the yr where we don't get a Winter, lol! I'm sure if something substantial comes down the pike, I'll be all over it But until then, I'm no longer wasting my time! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
