  1. I just have to share with folks who will get it... I'm so excited right now. I grew up in Mt Airy and have been living in the lowlands of the Eastern Shore, Pasadena and Glen Burnie for the last 20+ yrs. My family is about to move back to either Mt Airy or Eldersburg and I can't wait to be on the other side of the 36-and-rain obs Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk
  2. This definitely explains my confusion and aggravation... Sent from my SM-S911U using Tapatalk
  3. Still just a car topper here in Glen Burnie. Maybe .5" on cars. Roads still haven't caved. Insane fail here.
  4. is anyone around Baltimore getting jack shit here or did i somehow end up in the armpit of the storm? i feel like everyone in every direction is talking about how great it is
  5. Oh? My NWS forecast was for ~6". I have maybe 0.5" on grass and trashcan lids. Roads are wet.
  6. The traffic cam at the Rt. 50 drawbridge in OC is wild... wind must be HOWLING down there
  7. well... this sucked. 31 and SN for the past I dunno 5h or so and a cartopper to show for it. This is exactly the kind of late feb/early march storm that makes me ready for spring. F this noise. Bring on baseball, storms and heat.
  8. I'm a little salty... was just in AC last weekend. I missed the 15" at DCL on Jan 25 by 1 week and now gonna miss 15"+ at AC by one week
  9. The delta beween the 'expected' and 10% on the LWX Snow and Ice forecast page is maybe the highest I've ever seen this close to an event. Crazy levels of uncertainty here
  10. I mean - Kuchera is lower than 10:1 on Pivotal. BWI's QPF is like 1.7", 10:1 is 17" and Kuchera is 13" so 7.6:1 avg
  11. Definitely going to be watching the Wisp cams (https://www.wispresort.com/mountain-report-cams/) as that squall moves in from the NW... should be pretty epic This is also one I like to watch up in the DCL area: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cfGy_FAYhk
  12. Prob because we are unlikely to see anything but cold wind... which we do really well here. But I'm with you it is fascinating. You think there's any chance we see a squall from the frontal passage E of the BR?
  13. most red-tagged posts in a row I've ever seen... ya'll nerding hard
  14. Truly shocking how little precip there's been... we either get cold or precip, but never both.
  15. This thing is drying up as fast as last night/this morning's "event"...
  16. lol... was easy enough to go look and see what happened... and I'm not even remotely surprised
  17. Most important HRRRRRRR run of our weenie lives running right now to see if we get a cartopper or a trashcan topper
