  1. I think this is rather logical....why go against the seasonal trend and that tends to be cloudy and dreary versus snowy.
  2. I’m at the vdot yard in chantilly off of rt 50 and it’s all sleet here.
  3. Is anyone believing the nam on the weekend? lmao. Correct me if I’m wrong, many winter precip events possible in the next 7 days but I’m will to bet none of which add up to anymore then a couple inches in the immediate area.
  4. It truly is amazing to see such a flip in a short lead time.
  5. Wellllll it’s starting to unravel like usual.
  6. This thread has a completely different tone versus DT update 20 minutes ago....
  7. It does seem way south but correct me if I’m wrong, it would seem our area is good for a few inches at least?
  8. I honestly think 3-6 is a reasonable call. Hell 1-6 is reasonable. 6 or more is a plus. I think 4 region wide is the most likely.
  9. Why he hasn’t been banned is beyond me. It’s been daaaays of the same comments.
  10. One would think 4-8 would be a good starting point. Certainly room for up or down.
  11. I think we all know, if this storm has an historic potential, now is the time for it to be modeled that way across the board. 2016 was at least 6+days out with unusual model agreement. BUT if not even historic, 4-8 even 6-10 inches is a win In my book.
  12. This was this morning and has since been updated.
  13. This is literally going in the opposite direction.
  14. Looks like the latest track puts remnants south of our area.
  15. Was down there last week and beginning of this week. Weather was gorgeous!
  16. Complete overcast here In fauquier county. Do we ever clear out in the mid Atlantic to maximize any severe potential lol
  17. The caps have been consistently one of the best teams in hockey for years. Yes only one cup to show for it. But let’s face it, the caps and pens are like staring at a rebuild.
  18. Pretty consistent burst of heavy rain thunder and lightening since about 5:30 in Haymarket area.
  19. Are we looking at a more widespread coverage in the next few days??
  20. Radar trends are rather sad. Not sure why a FFW was issued. These few storms are racing!
