Plus we've got Rolling Thunder going on right now in DC and environs, the concert at the Capitol tonight, pools open, people out on the water boating, etc.
Hopefully they can get the Memorial Day concert finished before a line comes through (it runs from 8-9:30 p.m. on the U.S. Capitol grounds). I've attended when it was simply pouring rain, but this would be a smidge different.
Went out and scraped off the car in the FRZ. Even with the expected temperature rise overnight it may be a good idea to do so if you haven't already, since at least where I am (near KDCA) it's pretty heavy.
A Western Omelet from Eastern Market, DC along with the potatoes is wonderful thing. The French Toast, too.
Meanwhile, another lull along the Alexandria/Fairfax County line.
Metro should be fine; unless conditions are really lousy, usually it takes 8 inches of accumulation (height of the 3rd rail) to get outdoor portions shut down.
