  1. Ah - just went and looked - 12" - most of that in a 4", 3.5" and 3" series of snows. That hard cap on snow events for me is quite something to behold.
  2. Took a 3-block walk to get a salad. It better be a GREAT salad. 20 degrees and a bracing 20 in downtown Baltimore, given the 10-15 mph wind...
  3. I meant - in any one storm (more than 4.6"...
  4. Yes, you all did great then. That one got me 1/2 an inch. South of northern balt county has cashed in a bunch, relatively, in the same timeframe that those of us not up where @psuhoffmanlives have been in a snow hole for years and years now. Basically west of 83 over to 95 north of baltimore has been on a six-year whiff for a storm total over 4.6" inches.
  5. Good for New Orleans, what a treat, but holy hell, that's a better storm than I have seen in six years now in Baltimore/Monkton. Unreal.
  6. Spoke too soon on mine, was at 2 when I left for work at 7:15 am. Quite a drop in the early morning hours from 7 overnight.
  7. Think my low point overnight was 7.
  8. 11/22/24 - T 12/5/24 - T 12/6/24 - T 12/20/24 - .5” 12/24/24 - .1" 1/3/25 - T 1/6/25 - 3” (the opposite of the magical event for the beltways here in Monkton - ten hours of snow to get three whole inches. Whee.) 1/11/25 2"(snow on snow)(snow started just after midnight and ended up almost as much as Monday's disappointment - this one was way more fun to wake up to) 1/16/25 - T 1/19/25 - 2" (another winter storm warning bust - couldn't hold good banding or snow growth other than for about one hour) (still running on six years since a verified warning event for areas I have lived (north baltimore city and then monkton starting in 2022) Season total - 7.6"
  9. We ended up the same, depending on if any last gasps.
  10. as always, whichever model goes sideways before the event starts showing a looming bust, just go with that one. Changes from storm to storm as to which will call the bust correctly, but one always does.
  11. Really gorgeous snow game in Philly.
  12. Closing in on 2 inches, I refuse to look at radar during these events so I can pretend it will go on like this forever...but we will need it a few more hours in any event to get to 4". Probably gonna miss verifying warning level again for Monkton area but it is really pretty.
  13. Just hit an inch, but considering I was at .2 around 2:45 - I am at an inch an hour rates at the moment. If I can hold this for a few hours could still make four inches maybe. Gorgeous here now. Been waiting a long time for this.
  14. Heaviest snow I have seen in at least half a decade. Easily.
  15. Just picked back up here, maybe THIS time it is game on for my area (Monkton). Sitting at .2" so far after five hours of precip...
  16. This obs could be forever pinned for me, lol. I am moving to Hunt Valley on or about March 1, maybe being 14 miles south of you as opposed to 7 will remove my apparent curse from upon your lands...
  17. Confirm mappy's obs. It's pretty here but it is not piling up. I am .2" about 7 miles to just south and east of her.
  18. Just walked in the falling snow w/ the pups. Pretty out. Just .2" so far but accumulating on road surfaces now. Will be happy to get a few inches if we can manage that before the artic push this week.
  19. Parachutes here now. This is bordering on...(checks notes)...fun?
  20. If it's gonna be go time, it's now. Fingers crossed.
  21. Finally started snowing again in Monkon. We shall see if this is the good stuff finally. Starting from 0" from the spotty morning stuff/rain.
  22. Yeah, that dream of mine is dead for this one again. Maybe next event.
