84/69 at the finish line for the balt women’s 5k. Well done to everyone running this. First woman was across in just over 15 minutes…

78/69 in Monkton. About to head to downtown Balt to meet my wife after she runs a 5k starting at 7:30 am for around the harbor. Air conditioned breakfast the goal…

Unreal pic - thanks for sharing

96 Monkton - that’s…pretty hot for out here in the countryside

I’ve always assumed people live there because they were stuck in one of those jams on 95 and just gave up and bought a house to get out of traffic…

Can I make a random observation/thought - I grew up in central and southwest OH and saw my fair share of severe weather days - and certainly continued to do so for the 11 years I was in middle and west Tennessee, but on those days in those locales way more often than not we would actually start potential severe days with clear(ish) skies and sun. From living here in Baltimore/northern Maryland area since 2010, it is WAY more common to get to potential severe days just completely socked in with clouds. Dense overcast. Which, generally, does NOT help with getting conditions optimal for decent storms/severe. Is that maybe because of where we sit between mountains and the ocean - do we just accumulate clouds on these days and can't easily clear them? Is it a function of our locale? Or am I just making stuff up/musing on things that don't have a basis in any kind of sensible fact?

After all the weeks of clouds and overall gloomy skies, the last four days or so have been quite awesome. Just brilliant blue to the skies, and unreal nice temps. Been a nice stretch.

More than I got - three drops total from the Monday night line.

Which shirt did you get??? Relish? Say it’s relish!

On an up note - it has gone from looking unlikely to see the Os play today based on yesterday’s forecast to first pitch coming off shortly after 1:00 today with no delay.
-
Three drops up here. Radar looks meager and a miss for whatever this is and looks like a miss later this afternoon with round 2. Precip chances went from 90% from yesterday’s forecast to 45% currently.

Gonna dare the atmosphere to rain by watering all the flower pots and garden plots.

Yeah - shocked at how fast it got relatively dry after the weeks of gloom and wet.

Cloudy and relatively cool - 76 with a nice breeze.

The fireflies are out in force up my way - especially into the overnight. Took the dogs out at 2:30 am last night and just an absolute light show from the lightning bugs up in the tree line and also closer to the ground.

We keep missing up here all of a sudden. We do extremes lately up my way - either can’t miss for weeks or miss everything for weeks.

We knew that was coming, right? All the wasted weeks of no 70s we were gonna haul straight from the gloom to 90s with no in-between.

Great googily moogily, the sun finally effin' came out in Baltimore. Thank god. Too gray for too many days now.
-
Nilhist me: I’ve just stopped making weekend plans
-
It rained four more times after my post. It’s raining now.
-
Where the eff is this with snow squalls in January? not here then.
-
It is infuriating. Every time it stops another hard rain pops up and pours.

Supposed to be hosting 16 people /family for Mother’s Day gathering where I really need to make use of the patio and will NOT STOP RAINING.
