  1. Yes this morning, would think we freeze this week but who knows it’s been too windy and overnight lows much above normal, hopefully changes this week with some actually cold calm nights, currently zero degrees
  2. Historic cold so far this winter or not……can’t even buy average
  3. What happened to the historic cold?
  4. We just keep going weeks with no storms and zzzzzzzz it’s not even really cold outside two days
  5. Walt Drag frequently mentions he doesn’t consider winter storms unless the GGEM shows it. It’s one of his benchmark models and the RGEM is the best Meso model we have so I don’t understand this post at all. GFS is the worst model we have and it’s not close
  6. Zzzz, we were below -30 last year
  7. Congrats @40/70 Benchmark https://x.com/meteomark/status/1879062270723977690?s=46&t=m4Eqkekadb-JCXTm7k-Txg
  8. lol I have five posts a day, what do you suggest I do? We can’t all be jestering like Primshine with 100 posts a day even when he says he’s not posting today about ZR maps on 300hr runs.
  9. Just go back two weeks, all over Twitter and this board. We live in an age of delusion and lack of verifying past forecasts as if they never happened. The cold has been normal and it’s been very dry. https://x.com/jhomenuk/status/1873426101864894468?s=46&t=m4Eqkekadb-JCXTm7k-Txg https://x.com/bigjoebastardi/status/1873034974536073564?s=46&t=m4Eqkekadb-JCXTm7k-Txg
  10. Except they aren’t, we have two warm days, then a few cold days then a cutter and then more of the same with cold and dry before we flip to a torch pattern in February
  11. It’s not like it’s been too cold for snow, far from it. Midwest is colder and snowier it’s just big -NAO are not good for snow for the Northeast, they are good for the Midwest south and mid Atlantic. Negative NAO are only good in a specific combination with the correct orientation
