  1. I wouldnt worry about what NWS is saying now. We have to see how the storm develops and if we can get heavy banding to help out. I think a layer of ice and sleet is nice for the snow to stick to.
  2. Its about 80% Sleet 20% Snow about 2 miles east of Prince Frederick. Temps Steady at 32f
  3. Good news is it is snowing in our county.. http://www.chart.state.md.us/video/video.php?feed=dcffb99000fa00c80054fa36c4235c0a
  4. Yes! I noticed that too when I woke up this morning. I think we start seeing more and more snow mix in as layers cool.
  5. Good Morning Fellow Southerners... Working From home today in Central Calvert County. Sleeting pretty heavily at the moment. 32f and 31 dew.
  6. Let me know what we got!? I went in to work this morning and by guessing it looked like somewhere between 4-6". Sixes Rd, Adelina, 231 and Rt. 4 were all garbage all the way up to work. Got here to Lanham and it looks like they got maybe 1"
  7. Obviously here too! I mean you live like 2 miles from here!
  8. Hoping for an overperformer! Sitting here in Calvert County wishing I didn’t have to work tomorrow or Friday because I would have packed the wife and kids up and headed to the in-laws in Bridgeville, DE! Good luck to all, I hope we’re all happy when we wake up!
  9. Man that stinks! My oldest is 11 my middle is 6 and youngest is 4.. they were very disappointed this morning, but are excited for this bs now. Hope he feels better we have had a cold that keeps circulating the house for the past 1.5 weeks... hope he’s feeling better!
  10. Doesn’t surprise me.. I’ll be shocked to get 2” here.... with the dry slot the dusting we have will probably melt and the back end won’t be strong enough to put down much.. my kids are extremely disappointed
  11. Just feel like we are really not going to get much out of this thing in middle Calvert.. radar remains unimpressive, and I’m watching that 2nd dry slot racing up from Richmond on radar... Bummer....
  12. This winter was having a very similar look to it as 11-12. But with this past weekends snowfall we eclipsed that terrible winter, so I am happy we at least got what we got!
  13. The one good thing is that the LR Models have been pretty inaccurate so far this winter, lets hope the torch being displayed isnt as strong and doesnt last as long as its progged to. Theres still a long way to go in winter and im not ready to throw in the towel just yet, I think we can manage to score 1-2 more decent events before we close out the year. I would be fine with 1-2 more that give us what we got this last weekend, which was a nice manageable snowfall, although I would trade it all in for a HECS!
  14. I was just outside about 10 min ago.. since were only a few miles apart im going back out to check!
  15. Cars had snow on the windows when I left the house at 4:30 this morning. Spitting flurries as I pulled out of the neighborhood. We get ours tonight and tomorrow, lets hope we can be just far enough south and east to get some good precip over us! Isnt it ironic?
  16. Thats Awesome! Yeah I bought here back in July. Me the wife and 3 kids love it! Feels good to be back in SOMD and only like 15min from home.
  17. I am a Southern Maryland OG! LOL I am from Charlotte Hall originally, lived in King George for 6 years sold my house there this summer and moved back to SOMD. So yes I am just south of PF proper off of Sixes RD.
