  1. In general yes but there always exceptions. This could behave like mono, where you carry the virus for life and it can be reactivated through environmental stressors. We just don't know yet.
  2. Where the hell is the rain forecasted today? Figures I drove the cage to work.
  3. Somewhat related and tame enough to share here from a local car forum...
  4. I was supposed to be four wheeling in the Adirondacks that week but the trip was postponed by the rental to September due to covid
  5. With this weather might as well turn the pool into a rink.
  6. Lot of categories here that automation won’t obsolete. Automation will however make universal income a necessity in our lifetimes. As far as China goes it’s about fair trade. China’s labor force is becoming more expensive and they will be forced to try taking away some of these sectors away from the US. That’s why we can’t just roll over and gladly let them charge 20% tariffs and steal our tech.
  7. I wouldn't call $13B over two years a massive bailout. Farmers are doing just fine. I'll gladly pay a little more for something made in america than something made in china, now more than ever. Why should china get away with charging a 25% tariff on cars manufactured here when we only charge 2.5% on cars imported here? You ever hear of eastman and westman? Eastman is right here in Buffalo. Westman china. They both made these...
  8. Links? The only feedback I've read about farming and Trump is that him rolling back some of the EPA watershed rules was a godsend for them. And that China is finally buying rice from the US due to China lowering tariffs.
  9. That's prob just NY state taking their cut. lol Kind of crazy that its taxed but i guess it makes sense because everyone's liabilities are different.
  10. I’m pretty sure the $600 per week they’re giving right now is untaxed, as is the stimulus checks.
  11. Don’t forget Lenco. That place is freaking awesome, at least the one at Sheridan and transit. You’ll never wanna shop at HD or Lowe’s again.
  12. Yea that’s why I said all but about $2k would be untaxed, the 2k would be maxed out unemployment in NYS.
  13. I think the point about not encouraging people to work is why they will give it to both the employed and unemployed. We’re already seeing people not wanna work because of the extra $600 being given out weekly to unemployed. I hope to hell the $2000 sunsets the $600/week though...other wise you could be taking home about $8100 a month unemployed, with all but $2k of that untaxed.
  14. Ya I don’t know enough to say wether the debt portion really hurts us. If the economy grows to out pace it then it doesn’t really matter I guess. You’re spot on with the spending...I know for my wife and I the entire 1st 4K would be blown on crap we don’t need lol.
  15. This idea has been floating around for a bit. I don't want anyone to suffer but this makes no sense. 99% of Americans fall into $130K or less. With roughly 200M Americans over 18 that means approx. $450B per month of national debt for the next 6 months, not including cost of implementation.
  16. I think both. The infection rate will go up because of reopening. And we’ve expanded testing to better track the increased rate.
  17. https://a.msn.com/r/2/BB13zfhE?m=en-us&referrerID=InAppShare Seems plausible.
  18. 100.5 she just got her results. Negative. So prob just a run of the mill flu. good to see that not only can they get you tested in less than 24 hours but also results in about 30 hours.
  19. Fever, sore throat, dry cough and body aches. Crazy thing is that she hasn’t left the house since 3/16 so whatever it is she caught from me with no symptoms.
  20. Wife was tested yesterday after feeling sick Thursday and Friday. Contacted Quest on Friday and they had her tested at 10am Saturday.
  21. Ever go to Hunters creek? Ive noticed people not wearing masks in grocery stores as well.
