  1. Not a great storm but there has to be more than 5 here. I think Don in East Hartford has like 10 or 11. Meteorologist Janna Brown from Agawam reported 7.5". "
  2. Mesos were showing this last night. Western deform. southeastern firehouse, and some subsidence in between. I had my concerns. Still a good storm here, but nothing earth shattering.
  3. I'm wondering if the valley here is more like 8". Good storm but would be a bit of a letdown. Was thinking a solid foot earlier today. Can't find a model that has 1" of qpf here.
  4. I'm a bit leary of the valley shadow, although I think it would be more pronounced the further north you go, especially Northampton to Greenfield. I'm staying with a conservative 8-12 here while watching for potential banding. Ryan's station is going for 10-20 statewide and I could see myself being the 10" here.
  5. Reggie improved a notch but still a bit flaccid compared to some of the more dynamic solutions.
  6. Hoping we continue slight west ticks and then lock in and avoid a Messenger shuffle.
  7. Looks like it's dropped to 33 near where I live. Southwick will be a couple degrees cooler. Wish I was home. Rainy day down at the shore.
  8. I'm not home but with temps 35-36 in Enfield it can't be too exciting.
  9. GFS with the CTRV qpf shadow. Hopefully it's getting a bit too cute with the topography. I know it's too early to fret about such things, it's just always in the back of my mind.
  10. The GFS needs some better support outside of it's own ensemble suite. I'm inclined to lean against it without that support.
  11. The icon was a tick NW, especially as the storm developes off the mid Atlantic. Slightly better ridge out west. It's also a bit weaker at our lattitude with the precip a bit less expansive on the western side. Still a solid miss.
  12. Nam looks warmer aloft. Timing is a bit later. More Zr and sleet and less snow in interior SNE.
  13. Is anyone even snowing or had accumulation?, lol. Radar is getting shredded by dry air. Dews in the teens advecting southward.
  14. Maybe some coatings on the hilltops in NCT and that's about it for this area. Maybe someone in the Berks grabs an inch or two.
  15. Yeah this thing is a pita. Keeping expectations low in the valley with marginal temps and such a narrow band of precip. I'm thinking maybe an inch here.
  16. 45 maybe, especially SW areas. Not sure about 50.
  17. Hard to keep most of the sub forum happy with a set-up like this. We watch and we wait. I would still feel better NOP.
  18. I read Jerimoth was 812. Either way it's a beautiful area sland I'd like to hike it some day.
  19. Yes but it's a narrow zone before it hits the meat grinder. GFS seems to have nudged slightly north.
  20. Approaching 40 here. Melting continues, especially in sunny, south facing, urban and highway areas.
  21. 37.6 for a high in this area, clouds and a breeze most of the day and a few flurries. The vibe was overall more wintry than spring here, but the small puddles next to the snow banks dont lie as there was a small amount of melting.
