  1. Drove through some areas of damage this morning in Shelton Connecticut. Saw a tree down on a car in a driveway and also trees and wires down just off of route 110.
  2. I got fringed with that first storm. Sun is poking out and we're at 79 / 70.
  3. IJD a snow hole but let's not be overdramatic. It's still inland and a couple hundred feet elevation. Like Will said, probably the low 40's but not a great spot for overall cover and retention but not as bad as living on the south coast. I also live in a snow hole averaging around 48-50" but at least I do better with CAD/ and snow retention in the CT river valley further northwest. I'm sure Willimantic cleaned up pretty well in some of those winters favoring Eastern New England where the banding in the bigger storms was pivoting back through Eastern Connecticut while my location was sniffing exhaust.
  4. Hi of 95 here despite a Mostly cloudy morning. Dew has dropped from the low 70s back down into the mid-60s
  5. 83 here after a high of 98.3. Tomorrow may hit 96-97 as well.
  6. I have fluctuated between 97 and 98 here the past 20 minutes. Would like to seen a more westerly component to the wind otherwise we may be close to maxed out here as the wind seem to be veering a bit more south.
  7. Dew has gone down to 64 here from 70 this morning.
  8. Not much support for 100 from what I see. I'm thinking 96-98 for the hottest temps regionally with dews in the 60s at peak heating time. Not earth shattering but a hot and toasty July day.
  9. Hiking at 3187 feet in Maine on Mt.Blue. Definitely a very buggy, hazy, and humid day for hiking but the weather does not look much better going forward this weekend
  10. No power here in Mount Vernon ME. Worst went just SW of here.
  11. Springfield area looks to be dumping rain. Only a trace here thus far.
  12. Man storms all around me but force field is in effect. Awesome looking skies occasional loud thunder and cooling temperatures from the outflow here.
