  1. Yeah Sunday looks like a nice mood type snow/ modest refresher, not complaining being Valentine's Day. Following system seems to really dig for oil and grab some gulf moisture. Maybe we can pound snow snow for awhile followed by some sleet and ZR to make the pack bulletproof.
  2. 2" new. It's been like pulling teeth to get good snow growth combined with heavier rates. It seems like most of the event so far has been either one of the other. Better rates with poor snow growth in the morning and better snow growth with rates struggling at times in the afternoon
  3. Better snow growth now,. Haven't measured yet but I don't even think we have 2" so far.
  4. Never fully slotted here, although snow growth has been putrid for the majority of this event outside of a few brief periods.
  5. Looks like we slot even here shortly. This nice band here now is pivoting north and the returns to the west are going to take a bit of time to rotate back east. Only NW CT looks safe from the slot.
  6. I fell good here 2 miles from the MA border on this one.
  7. Brady to Gronk twice for the TD. Bittersweet.
  8. Riding the line here, just a bit too far NW for the heavy but steady and moderate bursts.
  9. 27.6 here. I Like Ginx area and for 6-7. Probably 3" here and 4.5 on the Massif
  10. Reggie is no better than 18z, only about .20 precip back this way.
  11. I was in Bridgeport city proper yesterday and I was surprised at how much snow had melted. The piles and banks in certain areas were impressive, and you could tell it snowed a lot, but the solid cover is greater here even though they had like six or seven inches more during the storm.
  12. GFS definitely a little tamer, flatter. Advisory amounts for most outside the SE zones.
  13. I'm not feeling some of the 7" reports near here and the 5" in East Windsor while 12" was the BDL total and Springfield was general 10-11. Something seems off.
  14. Icon is a wound up hugger, decent front end thump for interior SNE.
  15. I'm so used to not jacking here that I've somewhat excepted climo. I'm in a valley so I miss out on any elevation driven events. I'm too far north in the valley and more vulnerable to shadowing than say a place like Middletown, but also a bit too far south to jack in most SWFE or the latitude driven " North of the Pike" events. Usually a Kevin to ORH axis outperforms here as well as The NW HILLS to Berks. My seasonal totals average better than the S Coast and parts of SE Mass as I get close to 50", but I usually get outperformed in big events, with the exception of a very rare banding situation like back in 2001 and even last December when I was close to 18" , pretty much a jack for the state of CT. But hell yeah, I'm still rooting for it and get pretty excited on the rare occasion that it does happen. Makes me savor it even more.
