  1. That map looks like it's somewhere near Prospect or Wolcott which are both up around 900 ft+
  2. I'm feeling a bit better back this way and I was earlier. Hopefully the precip shield will continue to blossom and fill in on the western side of the system a bit more on the models . When you see the placement of the SLP you would think that would be the case. Earlier phasing would definitely help accomplish that as well.
  3. Yeah there's not a lot of wiggle room in Connecticut. There is some consensus on accumulations in the northeast corner , for the rest of us we need a really dynamic and early enough phase to get that CCB cranking before the system hauls out of here.
  4. We need the east ticks to stop in the 91 corridor, as it is relying on dynamics to flip with a progressive system on a valley floor under 200' ASL west of the ORH Hills/NE CT Hills makes me pause for anything more than mood flakes to very light accumulations locally. Hopefully I'm wrong.
  5. Other than the gully washers round 2 was pretty meh with the convection and strong winds here. Best wind was with round 1.
  6. Moderate rain and 42. High temp forecast is 58 but I wouldn't be shocked if we're wedged in most of the day in the low to mid-40s here in the valley.
  7. Warmer air is already moving in aloft it looks like the low of 18 was around 2:00 a.m.here on a nearby PWS
  8. A few good gusts probably 50-55 range. Power flickered a few time but stayed on.
  9. Lights flickered a few times when that came through
  10. Metherb is fine. He left the board due to disagreements. Sugarloaf I have my concerns, I've tried to contact him a couple times without success.
  11. I'm going with 2.5 here in Enfield, although by the time I got home there was a wide discrepancy in the amounts between colder and warmer surfaces. There may have been near 3" at the height of the storm on colder surfaces but my son forgot to get a measurement as he was too busy building a snowman. Not bad for death valley.
  12. The time of day definitely held things back a bit in the lower elevations with marginal temperatures in the 32 to 33 range during the heart of the event.
  13. Yeah definitely looks like the valley north of Hamden county got screwed a little bit more. I'm not at home right now but pictures an hour ago from my son looked pretty wintry right in Enfield where I live at only 145 ft.
  14. Snowing and starting to stick here in Enfield unfortunately I have to leave down to the shoreline
  15. Snowing here but still melting on a contact and 34
  16. 42 here in the valley. You got nice elevation at 1150' you probably will live up to your screen name tomorrow. Your area is one of my favorite in the state , I enjoy driving out 20 to 219 and 179 etc out by Barkhamsted reservoir. Lots of nice outdoor recreation and scenic countryside.
  17. Perhaps the HREF which stands for high resolution ensemble forecast although I don't really follow it closely myself.
  18. Mostly bare here now. You must have been further south.
