  1. And you’re substantially west of my area, and south. I don’t think any of us were expecting the rain to be punching so far west as it is this morning. As Scott just mentioned that S/W from NJ is juicing our precipitation.
  2. Very true. But the radar is becoming more robust as time passes this morning, I don’t think most of us saw that happening today, at least not over this area? Tomorrow could over perform as this is doing today? Or Not? Lol. Still a lot of questions on how this all comes together later today and tomorrow it seems? Perhaps a few surprises are in store?
  3. Ya raining decently here..with some heavier echos incoming. Figured it’d(the precip) have a lot harder time reaching here than this....??
  4. Mostly racing...a few vendors but not many. At least not the last time I went a couple years back. Have a fun weekend reaves...a couple months or so and it’ll(sled season) be just about here!!
  5. Ya I feel the same way currently, pedestrian at best here for us. If it trends more ominous later and tomorrow, well then we’ll have to re-evaluate at that time.
  6. Lol...I guess we’ll see? Hope you’re on to something. Gut tells me this isn’t too special round these parts for us inland peeps. But time will tell.
  7. Nice!! Hope you/we have good dry weather for those events. We have a decent grass drag event here in CT, in Terryville in a couple weeks. Usually draws quite a few of us sledders.
  8. Wow...thanks for the info. Ya, if we get .75 I’ll be surprised to be honest.
  9. Oh good...don’t need whatever it Brings to be hanging around for the weekend.
  10. Well somebody in Tolland will be crushed his dreams of high winds and heavy rain ain’t gonna happen..yet again. Let’s hope it misses and we can salvage a decent Saturday/Sunday.
  11. Nice sweep by the Yanks...they’re the real deal this year. However, this ocean storm may be a lot less exciting round these parts. Wouldn’t be too excited just yet.
  12. So this idea from you back two days ago on Saturday, no longer applies? You’re on the Torch train now? How quickly we Flip-Flop!
  13. Thank you Anthony. So Dr Dews post was sarcasm...saying they were way South and East???
  14. Are they close enough to give any rain in SNE on the 12z run?
  15. I’m with ya on a dry next Saturday too TBlizz...your wedding(congratulations pal), and my sisters surprise 50th Birthday party too, and her party is outside under a cabana as well. So hoping it’s dry for both our events...???
  16. Good points. My opinion is we should all try to be good stewards of the environment as much as we can. Some of the hype is insane. And some of the worry is way overboard it seems to me. If folks want to worry about mosquitos biting them and making them sick, then I guess that's up to them. Just seems a little over the edge to me? But to each their own.
  17. And you're to worried about a Mosquito...so who needs to Relax???? You're post is saying that we shouldn't have to worry at all about Mosquito's living in a Modern country as we do. And That's what we do here, we comment on peoples posts. And there's always going to be things to worry about like that...if you let that type of stuff worry you. It's all hype. Silly signs on the highway warning peeps, it's just ridiculous. You have a better chance of having your kids/family get sick from the chemicals you just sprayed, then the EEE. But suit yourself if it makes you feel better. No one is melting at all. Just making a counter point. Whey is that when peeps make counter points to ridiculous hype, they're said to be melting??? Funny how that is.
  18. This! Everything is CC...it's sickening. What was the answer for 1938-1955 with regard to Tropical cyclone hits on the east coast??? Ya...it was just an active period...where we were in the crosshairs. Period! Like you said, if that happened again today, we'd a have a widespread panic and revolt on our hands, and idiots will be telling you not to eat beef cuz the cow farts are causing Hurricanes/Heatwaves lol. Holy Smokes what ridiculous society. 80 years from now it'll still be snowing here, and it'll still be hot and humid here in the summer. And we'll still get the occasional October Snow storm; or October 90 plus degree day, but that won't mean the world is coming to an end then either.
  19. LMAO....chill out. EEE has been around for a LONG Time. The climate isn't caving in at all anytime soon. You'll live and so will your kids and their kids.
  20. You're the Greatest! Lol...Sorry, I couldn't resist Berg.
  21. LOL.... really??? We've been through this on here a million times. Nobody is wishing harm/destruction on anybody. But sometimes flooding and damage can happen in Nor'Easters whether they bring Rain or Snow my fine Dr. It's the nature of the beast.
  22. Bite your tongue Dews....we want all of that and then some lol. We're due for a good ol fashioned cold rain/wind storm to let us know it's Autumn.
  23. Hope you're on to something with that guess......it's been a while since we've had a good storm around here.
