    May sound like a stupid question...but how did you make the jello eggs...what kind of mold did you use?? Sounds good/fun.

    Like I said earlier...it snowed very steady and at a good rate(I’d say about an inch per hour) for the whole storm. Started about 5:45 pm and it was over by 5:00 am. A little over 11hours of duration, and 11 inches of snow. No 2”/hr rates here that I saw. If we did..we’d have the 15-16 inches that some got with this one. But if the thing was a slow mover and it snowed for 18-20 hours and we picked up 20”, then that would be a memorable event to me. This wasn’t that unfortunately here.

    I agree completely. It was a nice storm..but forgettable is the perfect word for it. But it was a nice ending to a horrible season..glad we scored a decent/significant event.

    I know that Ginxy. Last nights wasn’t like either of them here In Southington. Last night was not that impressive here. 11 inches is a good hit..but nothing extraordinary.

    We only picked up 11 inches here...good storm for sure, especially for this year. But we didn’t get into the real super heavy rates here like some did. It snowed hard and steady...but nothing to write home about here...nothing like the late January 2011 Beast that came through here. That had blizzard and whiteout conditions with it here; last nights did not. Those of you who came in with 15 and 16 inches with this one congrats!!

    Beautifull snow growth/flakes. Upper end moderate now. About 1.5 inches down..maybe a tad more.

    Snowgrowth is nice with this. Moderate snow continues. Has that storm look/means business type of look to the falling snow.

    Snowing real nice here already. Snow growth is already nice. She’s gonna rock I think!

    Well for you eastern folks...it was expected. Not in CT.

    Ask kevin where the warning amounts are he told me yesterday that we were getting...when I told him that advisory snows were where this was going to be.

    Good for you. Nothing here. Too bad the sun will be out by 10:00 am though.

    The crazy part is you might not see 2”, let alone 8 or 10. Maybe/hopefully you’ll learn a lesson from this???

    This is history. I was told by DIT at noon today, that I did not “understand the weather”, when I said this was slipping away, and we’d be lucky to get advisory snow in most of CT....Hmmmm????

    He listened to me when I told him there'd be no warning for most in CT....and just advisories for most except maybe the Far east side.

    YUP! Or Dr. No says we rejoice...but I think it goes east some from earlier just like most of the 12z suite.

    I think you'd be fine...especially by that time. I'd drive if it we're me.

    I think BOX will have advisories up at 4 pm for most of CT....extreme Eastern areas may get a Warning...depending on Euro's look??

    He thinks he’s gonna get warning snows....ain’t happening for him with these trends. If Euro goes east...which it will most likely do, he and I are advisory at best. If things ramp back up on later runs..then that’s a different story. Trend is not his friend at 12z.
