Yup was thinking same thing....night before 12-16” is being forecast, by morning modeling fail, and 2-4 is on tap lol.

A day out and it(modeling-especially GFS) can’t get it pegged....sad. Although the Euro had stupid amounts in SE Mass also yesterday, so there’s that too.

Well most of inland SNE saw very little affects from 91. Proximity to the shore, and eastern shore at that, was crucial...you couldn’t have been too far inland I would suspect. Or too far west. 91 was a nothing burger here and for most of SNE.

Solid Rain shield continuing to blossom here...steady Moderate rain all morning, with more incoming. Gonna add up...no wind of course.

And you’re substantially west of my area, and south. I don’t think any of us were expecting the rain to be punching so far west as it is this morning. As Scott just mentioned that S/W from NJ is juicing our precipitation.

Very true. But the radar is becoming more robust as time passes this morning, I don’t think most of us saw that happening today, at least not over this area? Tomorrow could over perform as this is doing today? Or Not? Lol. Still a lot of questions on how this all comes together later today and tomorrow it seems? Perhaps a few surprises are in store?

Mostly racing...a few vendors but not many. At least not the last time I went a couple years back. Have a fun weekend reaves...a couple months or so and it’ll(sled season) be just about here!!

Ya I feel the same way currently, pedestrian at best here for us. If it trends more ominous later and tomorrow, well then we’ll have to re-evaluate at that time.

Nice!! Hope you/we have good dry weather for those events. We have a decent grass drag event here in CT, in Terryville in a couple weeks. Usually draws quite a few of us sledders.

Well somebody in Tolland will be crushed his dreams of high winds and heavy rain ain’t gonna happen..yet again. Let’s hope it misses and we can salvage a decent Saturday/Sunday.

Nice sweep by the Yanks...they’re the real deal this year. However, this ocean storm may be a lot less exciting round these parts. Wouldn’t be too excited just yet.

I’m with ya on a dry next Saturday too TBlizz...your wedding(congratulations pal), and my sisters surprise 50th Birthday party too, and her party is outside under a cabana as well. So hoping it’s dry for both our events...???

Good points. My opinion is we should all try to be good stewards of the environment as much as we can. Some of the hype is insane. And some of the worry is way overboard it seems to me. If folks want to worry about mosquitos biting them and making them sick, then I guess that's up to them. Just seems a little over the edge to me? But to each their own.
