    I was actually impressed here by the winds overnight..some serious house shaking gusts that kept us awake. No leaves on the trees certainly helped big time. We didn’t lose power thank goodness. Nobody needs that garbage on Xmas. Merry Xmas everybody. Have a wonderful day. Time for a Mimosa!

    Except for ‘69...I remember the others well. Your point is well taken Will. Yes, the blocking can be very exciting/and interesting. I think my point was Just not Uber/crazy like in feb ‘10, where we all sat on the sidelines, and watched the mid Atlantic(and even southern mid Atlantic) play the super bowl. But bring it, and we’ll roll the dice again with a look like that. We take.

    What did Feb of ‘10 look like? Similar? Or more so? Cuz we might as well have been on the moon up here...nothing was getting up in here with that Uber block back then. Blocking can be fun here...bring some, but not massive blocking.

    Yup. Warm wet and soggy ground thawing out, and winds blowing things right over.

    We lost a big spruce in our front yard in that one..blew right down- roots and all. And there was snow still on the ground when it toppled.

    Lol you’re welcome...all in fun-no offense T.Blizz. I get it ..it is not fun when there’s nothing on the horizon. Especially when things looked to be lining up. It just went to crap with some bad ju-ju. And that’s always a possibility. And believe us, you are very happy you didn’t live through the 80’s in SNE...it was always bad ju-ju then...whatever could go wrong with a system, Always did, it was really something to see(in a bad away).

    At least you lucked out...sometimes you step in shit. Most all of SNE did last week-we take. Stop whining already you Sally. If by the end of January (5-6 weeks from now), we still don’t have anything happening, then you can have a full blown melt then. But Not on the 2nd full day of winter.

    Well T Blizz is a moaner beyond belief...I too lived through the 80’s and very early 90’s(was a teenager), and it was abysmal as you pointed out. He’d be jumping off a bridge if he had to live through that again.

    Good points. It’s only weather. Just hope we see some improvement soon...but either way we’ll all be fine. As long as we’re healthy, everything else will come and go.

    Climate is always changing..that’s the beauty of it. Anyway, Lets just hope our next couple weeks changes, so we can enjoy some more winter. Instead of tropical storm like systems.

Ant you asked me if I thought the decent tele’s you posted earlier would produce...I guess you got your answer with the modeling today....which is a “RESOUNDING NO!” Which is what I was fearing when I said, we’ve seen them(decent Atlantic teles) not produce many times in the past. And where does January show a lot of promise? The -NAO, and -AO? I wouldn’t be holding my breath on that either. But that’s just me.
