Yup, cleaned up here..9 inches and I was pumped for a great winter. Not to be. But that was a solid early season event...like in Nov ‘12, but even better. Although the rest of the winter didn’t go like 12-13 season did that’s for sure.
Nah...you’re way to young first of all to remember the old days. And with the internet/phones/social media...everything is sensationalized...period. Hype it up...it sells! It happens..it’s not historic.
Was thinking the same thing...they’d be About my parents age(77) give or take a few years...hard to believe. Amazing how time flies for all of us. Sobering thought for sure. Good point Jerry.
Dude...can you just STOP! It’s October 26th. It’s not supposed to be winter in SNE yet. So just f’n knock it off already you clown!
Mods..can we do something about this TROLL?
I agree. Right about Thanksgiving is when it can start to set in...the wintertime temps and precip that is. No need to have it any sooner...today was gorgeous...keep the 60’s coming.
It wasn’t anything all to impressive over here either...pretty much what you guys had happened here too. A couple inches of rain and a few gusts to 40-45 or so. Forgettable for sure.
Good for those that got to experience a good storm, that’s always exciting.
Must have been..that’s rare. That’s Cool for them. Fun when you don’t expect it...and it happens.
Calm as can be here...I mean nothing is moving at all.
Ryan was just on with an update, he said nothing about your wind in Enfield. Just mentioned the rain and wind SE and E CT.
In fact he said the winds are calming down temporarily, before they pick back up later.
Ya with the CAA from the northwest I’m assuming.
I wasn't expecting Much in the way of wind, but I thought it’d be a little more breezy than it’s been.
I haven’t had any wind here all night...where’s the Sting Jet? Very run of the mill here. Steady moderate rain all evening...but nothing impressive so far. Looks like the coast is where it’s at, as we thought.
